Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautifully restored, authentic berber kasbah in the striking setting of a traditional village in the high Atlas. Our stay was made even more special by the wonderful hospitality of Lahoucine and his family.

Such a unique accommodation! The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and tidy. The host is very friendly and kind. he speaks French and we were able to communicate with our limited French and have a great conversation. we had the dinner, which was 12 euros so expensive for the area, but it was very tasty and we got to try something new.

United StatesI recently had the pleasure of staying at Kasbah Tigmi N'Oufella in Telouet, Morocco and it was truly the highlight of my trip. This charming and rustic guesthouse offered a glimpse into the simple and healthy life of the surrounding village, which was surrounded by ancient history and breathtaking natural scenery. The host was exceptionally kind and welcoming, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The food was some of the best I had during my trip to Morocco, with delicious and healthy meals made from locally-sourced ingredients. The rooms were decorated with a cool and cultured style that reflected the history and tradition of the region, making for a unique and memorable stay. But what truly set this guesthouse apart was the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the local culture and way of life, which was both humbling and inspiring. Overall, I cannot recommend Kasbah Tigmi N'Oufella highly enough. If you are looking for an authentic and unforgettable experience in Morocco, look no further than this charming guesthouse. With its kind and welcoming host, delicious and healthy cuisine, and cool and cultured decor, it truly is the perfect place to stay for anyone looking to explore the ancient history and breathtaking natural beauty of this incredible country.

very comfortable bed and linens, nice room decoration, enough heat during the cold winter weather, friendly host, hot water sufficient for one person (a second person will have to wait for it to heat up again to take a shower), quiet, beautiful location

United KingdomStaying here was a highlight of our trip, we stayed on the way from Marrakesh to Ouzarzate. The Kasbah is an old family home, much cherished and loved, situated in a small working village with no other obvious tourism. Our host was a warm and sophisticated man, gracious with his hospitality. We were with our 2 teenage boys and had a lovely walk in the evening to and around neighbouring villages, including a quick football kick-about with some children. The interiors are simple, charming and very comfortable. We had a delicious home-cooked supper served by our host and enjoyed breakfast to set us on our way. We can highly recommend a stay here for a flavour of village-life.

ArgentinaLunch and breakfast were very delicious although a bit expensive compared to Moroccan prices.
Lodging in a typical Kasbah, incredible experience. The owner very helpful and willing to help, despite not speaking the same language. Very comfortable and about 10 km from the famous Kasbah Telouet. Ideal to then continue the trip through the Dades Valley.

United KingdomAn absolutely fabulous experience. Authentic, authentic, authentic! Amazing location, great views, fascinating building - and, of course, an exceptional host (thank you so much) . He was so welcoming, and gave us plenty of his time, sharing local history and so much more. Food was perfect. And the valley was great for a walk - picturesque old villages based around a real oasis of green irrigated agriculture. Everyone we met was polite, smiling and welcoming - the local youth even invited us to join their football match, which we did! Overall, a five star experience.

If you look for a swimming pool don't come. If you look for authethicity come to this place! Stay in a real authentic Kasbah and enjoy the through hospitality of the Berbers. The owner was helpful, explained us everything and gave us a real welcome! this is not a hotel, this is coming home! All the rooms (3) were spacious, bathrooms OK and the food cooked with love. In the morning we did a splendid walk (with the instructions of the owner) across the river through the fields, connecting to the village.

Really unique stay in our favourite location of all the places we visited in Morocco. The building was very special and the room in particular was perfect. Our host Lahoucine was very gracious and interesting to talk to (despite a few language barrier problems with our limited French!) and the food for dinner was delicious. He also recommended a beautiful walk through the local fields and villages which we really enjoyed. A perfect one night stay - thank you!

United Kingdomit was expensive for what it was. I knew it was the most expensive night of my month in Morocco but it was not worth the extra. particularly disappointing was the breakfast as the same bread was served from dinner the night before. I was told there was no fresh bread (you get fresh bread everywhere in Morocco) and instead it was whacked in the microwave which made it inedible.

IsraelHoussein, the owner, offered us dinner for 11 Euros each, which we accepted. We told him we are vegetarians and he immediately said "no problem". We received soup, peeled tomatoes, cucumbers and boiled carrot (very small quantity, may I add) and plain vermicelli. Breakfast was a joke - old heated bread, three pieces of cheese and some jam. All in all, vastly overcharging place, which I would not recommend.
It is a nice place and room was comfortable though basic and not up to the price charged.
