Kitchen could have done with some washing up liquid and a washing cloth in it. Also, one of the shower heads didn’t work. Neither of these things ruined our stay though.

We stayed in the 2 bed apartment and had everything we needed for 2 adults + 2 teenagers. Bedrooms were a good size with clean fresh sheets and duvet. Living space / kitchen were very welcome, as was the additional terrace at the top. Staff were very helpful, arranging quad bikes for us at a good price as well as massages in the spa downstairs.

For a family of 5 it was near impossible to hail taxis as they mostly only take 3 people max. The staff kindly ordered taxis for us this just meant it was 20 dirham instead of 10 but actually it’s easy to walk to the medina, along the beach in 20-30 mins, depending on your speed.

Really clean, spacious and comfortable apartment which was nicely decorated and opened out onto the lovely large roof terrace. The bathroom was modern and the shower huge and powerful. The living room/dining area with kitchen were larger than how it looked in photos. The staff were so kind and friendly. The kids particularly loved the reading corner, the games and the breakfasts containing lots of sweet items. The beach was a few minutes walk and the kids also enjoyed swimming in the pool on the ground floor. The restaurants recommended by the staff were excellent and the meals we had at the hotel restaurant were delicious. Thanks again for a great stay.

Really beautiful place to stay, good facilities, friendly staff. Generous breakfast on a beautiful terrace, the lady at reception even let us come early for breakfast so we didn't miss out on our last day! We loved the shower, great design and water pressure! The location was perfect for us, less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and you can easily walk to the Medina or get a cab for around 10 dirham.

They have outstanding food at their restaurant the chef is passionate. The hammam is great too with massage service. The rooms are comfy . Staff and owner are great also, ready to help and talkative.

Quite a long walk from the medina area (about 25/30 minutes), which we realised when we booked and didn't mind. Beach is just a few minutes walk away. The nights were particularly cold during our stay at the end of November and we were quite cold in our room despite a little heater. Unfortunately the cold weather meant we didn't make use of our terrace or the pool (obviously not the fault of the hotel!).

Very nice hotel in a quiet, residential area. A really lovely roof terrace. Excellent breakfast and helpful staff. We extended our stay to 3 nights rather than the 2 we originally booked as we liked it so much. The hotel is quite close to the CTM bus station (under 10 minutes walk).

The rooftop is a beautiful place to eat breakfast. There were quite a few options to choose from.

Not a lot of bathroom privacy in our double room - a window to the bathroom area from the sitting room and a door that didn't go to the floor. But...in all three places I've stayed in Morocco so far none of them have very private bathrooms! Some noise from room overhead but clientele was mature and respectful, and no noise during prime sleeping hours (11ish-8ish)

It was great being outside of the Medina- much quieter and nice to walk along the beach in the morning to get to the central area.

We really enjoyed our stay at Vent Des Dunes. We didn’t travel by car but we could walk to the Medina within 20 minutes. The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was super clean and spacious.

Our room seemed bigger on pictures, but it was quite tight for 4 people and the bathroom was inside one of the rooms so everyone comes in. No windows really to ventilate the rooms (only the entrance and one that goes to another wall). Therefore, even with a floor fan it was quite hot a night. The bathroom and the room had see through windows to the other room, so not much privacy. It was very beautiful but I can’t imagine staying in that room for a very extended period of time.

It’s very beautiful and relaxing. Seems like there are many rooms but it wasn’t crowded or loud. There is parking right in front, the hotel is easy to find and it’s close to the beach. The breakfast was very tasty, although I wish they would start serving it earlier than 8:30. There is a beautiful rooftop terrace and swimming pool on the ground floor. We didn’t have time to check out their spa services unfortunately, maybe next time. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

This is a hostel/guesthouse and excellent if that's what you expect. The breakfast is excellent, better than some riads in Morocco. The terrace is beautifully decorated and the room spacious and clean.

The shower didn't drain well so we had to stop mid shower. We could have done with more coat hangers and cushions on the outdoor seating would have been nice.

My family and I spent a week at Vent Des Dunes, We stayed in the family room with the terrace. It was a spacious room and was spotless. The shower room and toilet were separate and both had sinks. It was on the ground floor in a quiet corner of the hotel, perfect for families. The terrace was great for evening card games. The pool was small but spotless and we used it every afternoon. Breakfast on the roof terrace was delightful and the friendly staff did their best to accommodate my family's range of dietary requirements. We booked airport transfers via the hotel. And camel rides. Both were excellent and I would recommend arranging these via the hotel. My daughter and I also used the spa, it was wonderful, extremely relaxing. I would highly recommend staying at Vent Des Dunes.

Great stay! We loved Essaouira, but the best part was the hotel staff. Iman made us feel at home, Samira gave me the best hammam experience, the reception girl (so sorry for not remembering your name!! 😩) was incredibly helpful, and the chef was awesome and smiley and accommodating! Thank you all for three fabulous days in Essa!!

There wasn’t anything not to like! It was wonderful.

We liked everything about the property! The family room was absolutely beautiful!!! The grounds, the roof terrace too. The owner and the staff were very kind, attentive and available at all times. They gave us information on places to visit and what to do during our time there. I liked that we were treated like friends, not like we were customers. We didn’t have anything other than Breakfast as we were out for the afternoon/evenings but I believe the staff would have used very fresh produce and cooked with love and care.

The pool isn't really swimmable, looks bigger in the pics but it is essentially a dunk pool and unclean. Not really use able, we picked based on having a pool and didn't use

Beautiful building and the breakfast on the terrace was lovely. Good location if you want to surf/kitseurf (would recommend KSE 5 mins from here) and the beach club for food nearby
