We enjoyed the walk along the seafront, but some people may be put off by the 20-25 minute walk up to the Medina. You can however book a Petit Taxi for 7 dirhams.

Converted private villa where they have gone to extreme lengths to create an authentic riad type feel. We really didn't stay long enough to do this place justice, but it really had a luxurious air about it. The staff were super friendly and the breakfast offering really good but we didn't eat dinner at the villa as there are so many fabulous restaurants in the Medina area.

This is the most amazing place we've ever stayed in. It's unique! It's an accommodation where quality, luxury, comfort meet all together. The authentic décor makes it clear which country you're in. We've been treated like guests of honor. The staff is very friendly and always at your disposition. This is exactly the type of place that suits our passion for travelling and discovering new places. Wish there were more places like this all over the world. We hope we'll return one day. Thank you for everything.

Everything was perfect. Loved it from the very first moment to the last. Nevertheless, I would like to highlight the staff, they were super nice and super helpful and very competent. The room was spacious, bed very good, breakfast excellent and the garden is the crown jewel. The villa is on the south end of the city, 20 minutes on foot from the medina gates. In the night it was very quiet, very good for people with lighter sleep.

I loved everything about the Villa Quieta. The only thing that I would caution people about is that it would be challenging for someone who is physically handicapped because there are quite a few steps and no lift to the bedrooms.

My husband and I just spent 12 nights at Villa Quieta, and it was absolutely wonderful! From the tea with which we were welcomed on arrival... to the gorgeous 'living room'... to the kind and attentive staff... to our comfortable bedroom... to the delicious breakfast... to the beautiful garden... to the fantastic location just a block from the beach, Villa Quieta was the perfect place for our holiday in Essaouira. The medina--where most of the restaurants are--is just a pleasant 20-minute stroll along the beach. At night we took taxis, and they only cost 1 euro to go to the medina. Our trip to Essaouira turned into the best holiday we have ever had, and Villa Quieta played a huge role in this. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

After a Medina experience in Marrakech, we headed for Villa Quieta outside of the Medina in Essaouira. Located along the long and beautiful beach, the Villa was within walking distance of the Medina and away from the crowds. It was beautifully decorated and the staff welcoming. Our suite had not only a large bed, but two twin beds in the loft. It could accommodate a family of four, or even two couples. While the bathroom was a bit inconvenient, down a flight of stairs, it was the best one of our trip with double sinks, heater, large shower, and excellent lighting. Breakfast was typically high-quality Moroccan. Freshly baked breads, yogurts, orange juice, fruits, and eggs upon request. Much more than we could eat. Being outside the Medina could have proved inconvenient for a long walk to and from dinner, but it was not a problem. Our favorite restaurant, the Atlas, was only steps along the beach where we enjoyed the freshest fish and amazing sunsets! We highly recommend Vila Quieta for your stay in Essaouira.

The hotel is in a great location. Quiet. Away from the city but not too far, about a 20 minutes walk. The beach is right across the street from the hotel and walking distance to “beach and friends.” There, you can grab a drink and watch the waves roll in, camels walking around and horse tours. I hightly recommend it!

The villa hotel has beautiful room and garden. the staff were extremely friendly and breakfast was very delicious.  location is convenient. very cleaning and spotless. walked 20 minutes along beautiful beach to Medina. Parking was in front of Hotel. Admire the beautiful sunset from the rooftop deck。

more socket outlets in the room needed for charging phones, ipads computors etc. Not related to the hotel the other problems were expensive wine in the restaurants which would discourage me from visiting again.

Location outside the old medina, right across the beach. Beautiful grand home with exquisite furnishings. Kind and helpful staff. Both Khalid and his lady colleague were super helpful (and classy!) We were there in February and having heating in the room was really nice. Seems like a great place for renting 2 or 3 rooms around a small common sitting room, for family or friends reunions. During booking and before arrival, as well as during our stay Khalid was very responsive to our queries and concerns. Thank you!

Staff and service were excellent. Breakfast is lovely and location perfect for us. A nice walking distance of around 25 minutes to the Medina and fishing harbour. Easy on street parking for our hire car, if you plan to have one.
