This hostel was really fabulous & probably had the best views in all of Imsouane. I say "had" because 2 weeks after we left Imsouane on the 19th of January, the entire part of the village by the coast was levelled by diggers with occupiers & business owners only given 24 hours notice. Very sad for the people who lived there & had their livelihoods destroyed by force to make way for corporate tourist resorts & the authorities who cooperated with them. 🙁

The location is excellent, the best in Insouame in my opinion. Easy access to restaurants and local surf shops. Fast to get to the main surf beach. The accommodation is simple, but comfortable. The view from the terrace is amazing, so many wonderful sunsets. Ridouan the owner is very accommodating and helpful.

West Coast Hostel was the best of Imsouane! Amazing location with incredible views, super chill and familiar vibes and very friendly owners. Redouane was there for everything we needed and more!! Totally recommended for a chill surfing trip or just to disconnect :D

Perfect sized, perfect location friendly hostel. Loved that it was only a three room hostel. Perfect size for us. Loved waking up and going to sleep to the sound of the sea and the view from our room was stunning. Plenty of room in bedrooms to relax and the terrace is a great relaxing space with an incredible view. Location is perfect as walking to either beach or to any shops and restaurants is only a minute or two. Reduan and team were really friendly and accommodating and made delicious food. Great stay and great value for money.

Location is perfect, right on the beach. Small hostel with only 3 rooms, shared bathroom and shower. Clean. Amazing view on the waves, front of the surf spot. Will definitely go back to that place next time in imsouane!

We cannot decide what we liked the most. The blood spills on the bed sheets, the disgusting toilette, the trash lying around everywhere or the manager who never replied to any further questions after doing the check in. Wi Fi did not work and there is mold all over the place. We didn’t sleep much as the entire place is very loud as the wooden doors didn’t really work and you hear everyone fighting with the door lock when entering or leaving the place. There was no toilet paper at the beginning, but even when we got some the water flush wouldn’t work so there’s a spare bucket which you can fill with water and use to flush. There’s a nice outdoor kitchen which unfortunately is full of trash too, the fridge is molded and stray cats use it for housing and eating the trash. At least the view for sunsets and towards the cathedral surf spot is great.
