Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceThank you Said for an amazing stay! Staff are extremely kind and accommodating. Beautiful comfortable tents, amazing food, fun vibes. We had an awesome time dancing around the fire to Berber music and enjoying the stars. Of course the camel ride was a huge hit as well!

CanadaAn incredibly Fantastic Luxury Camp experience. The "tents" had wooden floors, full bathrooms with showers, and very comfortable beds. Arrive in the early afternoon so you can do a camel ride and watch the sunset over the dunes I highly recommend for everyone

CanadaThe place was very pretty. We liked the food for both dinner and breakfast. We could take warm showers at night, but it was cold in the morning, but the blankets were warm enough. The camel ride was nice, but it felt a bit long. Overall, it was a good experience

PortugalWe had a magical two night stay at the camp. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with comfortable areas to sit and relax and all the conveniences you hope for like great weather pressure and heating and air conditioning for those large fluctuations on desert conditions. The staff are the highlight as they went out of thrower way to make our stay comfortable and to give us a Berber style experience through the tours, and their engagement with us. Highly recommended… stay two night of you can to see everything.

NetherlandsWe spent two nights at the Camp. The guys working at the camp were a pleasure to interact with and were very knowledgeable. They accommodated a special requests that we had, and also helped get our vehicle unstuck in sand (we drove our vehicle to the camp site; most people use the hosts' transportation to get to the site). They were also culturally knowledgeable, and most if not all of the camp staff were originally from the local area. We enjoyed all of the cultural and natural places they took us to during our stay, and they also arranged camel rides, 4-wheeling in sand dunes, visiting a Bedouin family, visiting a Bambara music organization, and other activities. Dinner and breakfast provided, and were great. We also enjoyed the music and drumming.

Canadathis was the best part of our trip to Morocco! the guides and hosts were incredible… made sure we didn’t miss a sunset, a sunrise or the moon rise. we were treated like kings and queens. the tents are just gorgeous. so comfortable with every amenity from a flushing toilet to a shower to electricity. they provide Berber robes for dinner and the mornings. it’s chilly in the desert! the food was incredible… the Berber omelette!!!! it felt like being at home. my only advice is to book two nights up front. you won’t want to leave! we rode to camp on camels. we drove to the top of sand dunes to see the sunset. we spent a full day lounging in the hammocks and enjoying the camp. was the most relaxing day! we got engaged at the top of a sand dune and will return to get married at the camp next year. at night, we had a fireplace and sang and listened to our hosts play drums. do not miss out on this. it will be the highlight of your trip too Thank you all guys for best experience in my life and I appreciate it Highly recommended Fantastic Luxury camp.

PolandThe stay at the camp was really pleasant (we spent 2 nights) and the tent very comfy and not even very cold, considering how cold the winter desert nights are. Ismail with his team were preparing amazing food and bossman Said took us, at our request, on a very fruitful search for fossils. The camp is on the remote side of the desert, which has its pros and cons. It is quiet with almost no light in the night, and close to the Berber settlements. But getting in and out can be costly.

SpainWe liked it a lot. Mustapha, the driver, picked us up and we had a wild drive over the Dunes into the camp. The food was very delicious, Ismail, the cook, was great and we had nice lessons how to cook Tajine and a great time with him and Aziz. The Jeeptour the next day was interesting and Yussef did his best to fullfill all our wishes. He is a very experienced driver. Moreover, we enyojed the drums at the fireplace. We felt safe and comfortable all the time. Thanks to everybody.
