I picked this hotel based on its location and good wifi reviews, but the Wi-Fi was extremely disappointing—it didn’t work on my laptop at all and was very poor on my phone, possibly due to the table's position in my third-floor room. The staff says there have been no complaints about the Wi-Fi never before, so let it be the first one. Also they promised to fix it next day, but it haven't been fixed. Also, be aware there's no elevator, so I had to carry my bags upstairs myself, but the staff were very pleasant and ready to help.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and it's situated in a cozy, quiet spot not too far from the city center. The restaurant offers tasty food, making it a comfortable place to relax and get some work done.

When we arrived we had flying bugs in our room. It took us more than 1 hour to remove most of them, using a vacuum cleaner. The person in charge didn't care about this issue. It was a pretty bad thing, considering we couldn't sleep in the first night. When we asked to get another room(not invaded by bugs), they replied that they are full. Very unprofessional. We had to clean the bugs ourselves, the staff didn't figure out "how". Very unpleasant, both the situation and the attitude towards us.

The location was good, the food was good.

Cons: - I found a cockroach crawling on the floor one morning; the floors were dirty with hair on them as well. - Its heydays are likely over. 10-15 years ago it must have been a lovely place, but its age is showing. It is overpriced for the product received; I left wondering what I paid so much for. - I stayed during a heat wave, and the air conditioner was struggling. There is no air conditioning in the common areas, so eating breakfast was miserable in the heat. - Again, expensive for what the customer receives.

Pros: - Easy, late night check in with the security guard - Nice gesture with water and chocolate upon arrival - The receptionist was friendly and offered suggestions and help. However, most of the time I didn’t see anyone at the reception - just the security guard. - Breakfast was scrumptious - plenty to choose from. For me it was just perfect. - Large room. The location is not bad - walkable to the center, and away from hotels where most tourists stay.

Unfortunately, the biggest problem, which impacted my rating the most, was the breakfast. Guests should be warned ahead of time, that it only starts at 8 am, which for work travel is not acceptable. Reception staff was kind to let me in 10 minutes earlier, as most days I was scheduled to depart at 8 am to make engagements. The discomfort, however, when faced by the rude breakfast person made 3 of the 5 mornings unpleasant when faced with her bad-tempered attitude towards myself and other guests.

The location was good for my work and the staff at reception were nice. Rooms comfortably spacious. Used the adjacent restaurant one evening which was ok. Staff was patient with me working in parallel in restaurant. It is a shame that the decent effort at service by other staff and an overall nice stay is undermined so solidly by one breakfast staff person.

It's hard to understand the high rating of the hotel, we had a parallel reality. First: they just don't have promised type of rooms (with balcony). Second - they struggled to find out even the basics of our reservation. Third - during all our stay they never cleaned the rooms. It all seems a bit fake.

The hotel is rather close to everything in the center. Especially if you need to visit parliament or other government structures, they are within a walking distance.

I missed breakfast the first day because no one informed of us the times and no one spoke English. The breakfast wasn't a game changer though. Nobody hardly spoke any English so it was hard to communicate. We put out the sign one day during our 3 night stay asking for a room clean up but it wasn't done when we came back.

Good size of the room and it was quite there. We were able to check in an hour early.

The dirty bathroom with hairs on the floor and nose pigeons on the shower curtain.. There was grill smoke air in our room whenever we have opened the windows.

Kind waitress who spoke english very good.
