We loved everything, especially the room, the view, amazing food, but the stuff topped it all. Especially Vladana who welcomed us with patient and smile, Nemanja who spoiled us with good food and Nina the most kind waitress. We will definitely return back.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

We absolutely loved it here, and wish we could have stayed longer. The location was perfect- out of town for some piece and quiet with a nice beach and terrace, but still a short drive to Kotor or Perast. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The breakfast and food were great, the rooms were spacious and comfortable and had extra room for our child, we will absolutely come again.

The sliding doors on the balcony did not close properly and caused quite a draft in the room. No problem in summer but in April it was a bit too cold. But if you put the airco on heating it is fine.

Right at Lake Kotor with stunning view from the terrace and restaurant. Rooms are lovely. Nicely decorated with separate bed room and living space. Good for longer stays. Personnel very friendly.

The staff are very friendly. They are very considerate so that the family doesn't feel uncomfortable. The food on the terrace in front of the hotel was superb. The hotel was not too big or too fancy, but everything was conveniently prepared and the sea view from the hotel was superb. It is also a great place for those who come to Kotor to consider.

Everything was perfect.

Very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff, who knew exactly what we needed after a long drive. The room was rather more like a suite, with sofa & several armchairs. Balcony with great view of the bay, but quiet because off the main road. Excellent breakfast. Parking on premises.

I spent 6 nights in a junior family suite with a mountain view, having spent my first night in a similar suite with a sea view (a last-minute booking - my stay was in 2 rooms due to availability). The sea view is spectacular, but I really enjoyed the precipitous mountin view, trees, and bird song for the mainstay of the trip. The room is spacious, elegant, and comfortable, with a ladder to an attic mezzanine with an extra bed. I didn't wap beds, but enjoyed this original hideaway feature. The bay is gorgeous - much enjoyed the terraces and the private beach with sunbeds inches from beautifully clear water. Good breakfast options, beach snacks, lunch and dinner, featuring local specialities. Staff: exceptionally kind and helpful, going out of their way to ensure I had an unforgettabe stay. I booked three excursions through the hotel - all went perfectly. Swimming in blue cave and visiting Black Lake at the national park have been incredible experiences; Black Lake - so beautiful, it doesn't seem real. I have to thank Vladana, Nataša, Anđela and Jovica, the Casa Del Mare's wonderful driver, for all their kind, thoughtful efforts to ensure I had the trip of a lifetime (apologies here for spelling uncertainties and not learning the names of all the lovely front-desk and waiting staff). Again, I can't give higher accolades for this hotel and the quality of my experience.

I had the most wonderful week at Casa del Mare- Amfora. Even before my arrival, Nataša, at the ront desk, arrived a smooth transfer from Tivat airport with Jovica, the hotel group's super-friendly and helpful driver. There was a warm welcome and a glass of prosecco upon arrival. The view of the bay and mountains from the terrace took my breath away. I'd made a last-minute booking and my stay was split between 2 rooms - a sea view junior suite in the attic for the first night and a mountain view junior suite for the rest of the week. The sea view suite is a spacious room with elegant, modern, and very comfortable furniture. There's a ladder going up to a mezzanine with an additional bed, which is a nice, original touch. The view from the room is gorgeous. The mountain view is also lovely and has its own charm with many shades of green trees, bird song, and an impressive up-close experience of the granite peaks. The terraces and alcoves overlooking the bay are beautifully done, built for dazzling views while feeling calm and private. I very much enjoyed the beach area, inches from the clear water with green shade and, I think, a pomegranate tree! There's a good beach snack menu, and very good options for dinner and breakfast, including local specialties. Everything about this hotel - thoughtful design, peace and privacy, the beauty of the location, and warm, kind, gracious staff, has made for an exceptional experience I won't forget. I can't recommend this hotel more highly.

Beautiful property in Kotor! Lovely views from the terrace. Delicious breakfast every morning, with plenty of options. A short taxi ride from the old town. Would definitely recommend this place!

Not hugely close to any supermarkets etc.

If you’re after seclusion, this is for you! Sun beds on a private beach, what more could you ask for. Restaurant and bar with top notch cocktails and a banging particularly breakfast menu. We also had a massage each that topped it off.

Parking is limited. But staff are really helpful in sorting it out.

Location was great, just a 10min ride to the old town. The hotel beach was amazing with crystal water for a great swim. The staff were really friendly and helpful, we would go for breakfast, by the time we were back in the room it would be clean already. And the food was really good.

slow breakfast shortage of sunbeds

For each room 2 sunbeds are included,... so we learned. We used 3 of them as our family consists of 3 people. This went well for 2 days. We heard people been sending away that were using them while not staying at the hotel. So it surprised us that on the last day, they wanted to sell sunbeds and asked us to give up 1 sunbed. We found this strange and not going together with the luxurious appearance of the hotel. My husband replied that we would pay for the extra sunbed and they moved on. In fairness it must be said that it was not on the bill. It was a strange experience (there were some beds not used at all!) on a further excellent stay.

No elevator; be prepared to carry your belongings (or ask staff for help). Mattress was a little uncomfortable. Otherwise it was a great stay.

Pay attention to sunbed availability. It is 2 per room max regardless how many beds you have in your room. We were a party of 4 in family room and we were told that there is max 2 sunbeds for us because we occupy one room. Fortunately there were not too many guests we were allowed to use 4 sun beds during our stay. But if we came in a more busy season, there was risk of running into a problem of sun bed availability. Better to confirm this with hotel during reservation and Booking.com is not providing this detail. The second point is to make sure you have sea view room, again this information is not available in Booking.com
