How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Everything was fine.
The apartment is centrally located in Zabljak, there is plenty of parking out on the street. Very clean, the apartment had everything you need for a short stay. The host was very helpful.

The first night there were some loud noises from the bathroom, which the host fixed afterwards.
The room was very nice, it had a kitchenette and everything was clean and looked new. Location is very good, it's a few minutes walking from the city center, the supermarket and various restaurants. The host is super nice.

Nice and quiet place to stay in Jablyak. Friendly owner. All facilities near the apartments, market, bakery, restaurants, pizzeria. Big apartments, great value for a price.

Bed was a little uncomfortable but that's all I can think, was a lovely place to stay.
Convenient location, near too a pub, restaurant, and a nice coffee house with breakfast. Very close to Durmitor Park entrance, walkable in 15mins with Trails in every direction. Activity lodges to book excursions also very close by. Nice, quiet location along with a very nice and helpful host. Very relaxed. Very good shower.

Perfect location in central zabljak, near restaurants, supermarket, banks, tourist information. Modern, comfortable, clean room and bathroom. Perfect spot for basing yourself to explore durmitor. Parking. Great host.

Nothing to complain about
The apartment has an excellent location - literally in the middle of things - restaurants, supermarket and the Black Lake -just a stone´s throw. The host - Maja - was very kind and helpful and gave us good tips where to go for a trip and where to go to eat. Our room was clean and cozy with a nice bathroom. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Bedroom arrangement was slightly strange - double bed and single bed in 1 room and single in another.
Centrally located in Zabljak; outside sitting area; owner was very responsive, friendly and offered help.

Simple but very cozy apartment in a central but very quiet place. We liked everything and had a great rest. The owner Maja is very kind and gave us lots of advice on where to go and what to see in the surroundings.

We loved our stay at Apartments Grbovic! The room was great it had everything we needed and the host, Maja, was lovely and gave us great recommendations. The location is also ideal, within walking distance to shops and restaurants.

The bed was very uncomfortable. Everything else was great but the bed.
The host was very nice and gave us suggestions on hikes and overlooks. She did our laundry for free which was so kind and helpful! Walking distance to the restaurants we went to.

The owner was extremely friendly and provided us with valuable recommendations on local attractions to visit. The apartment itself was cosy, impeccably clean, and beautifully.. It offered a delightful atmosphere and made us feel right at home.

Nice location, close to the center of Zabljak ! Maja, the host adviced us a few places to visit which was very usefull considering that some of the main attractions were closed because of the snow. Thank you

Only point of criticism is that we only had 1 blanket that was a bit small to be shared between 2 people.
Great location, nice apartment, great bathroom, and everything was very clean. Had a great stay here!
