Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Czech RepublicEverything was brilliant and excellent! Our room was very clean and spacious. It takes about 20 min on foot to Plavi Horizonti beach (quite overcrowded in summer seasons), but we preferred to go to Lustica Bay beach (about 25 min on foot, or 5 min by free bus – it goes every 30 min from Lustica Bay Centrale). Apartments' location is great, especially for those who has a car (we didn't have it, but knew about location in advance, so no complaints!). Just pay attention for this if you decide to book this apartments and don't have a driving licence, a wish to drive, etc. Anyway, even if you're crazy like we are and love to go somewhere on foot, the restaurant Astoria, Voli market, bus stations are just about 5 min away. There's also a possibility to go to Tivat by bus, but we didn't try it :) If I'm not mistaken, there's also a bus to Plavi Horizonti beach. Nataša is a wonderful host! She was always in touch with us, immediately answering all our questions via WhatsApp. She can provide a washing machine for 5 euro. We are also MUCH appreciated for providing us a transfer to Tivat Bus station for 20 euro. It saved us soooo much because it was a heavy rain outside. Many thanks to Nataša and her family!

United KingdomWe were happy to be out of the main tourist hubs but this does mean you are very dependent on your car. The nearest beach, Plavi Horizont, was heaving with people so we preferred to drive further and explore other parts of the stunning coastline and up into the mountains.
Nataša gave us a warm welcome to her lovely flat, which had everything we needed. Dining on the peaceful terrace while admiring the view was a real highlight.

AustraliaGreat quiet place outside the hustle and bustle of the city. Nataša was so helpful and kind, helping us out when we had complications with our bus transport. Lots of beautiful beaches to explore around the area. Kitchen was equipped with everything needed to make a meal!

MontenegroThe host insisted that we personally visit the touristic agency and pay the € 1 per day residence tax, even though: (1) the tax is clearly included in the price paid through booking.com, and (2) it’s her duty under the domestic law to visit the agency and make the report. I would recommend that any foreigners do not pay for such tax or visit any agencies.
The room was great — clean, well-equipped and pretty spacious. The same applies for the bathroom and the kitchen. We also had a smart TV which was a nice surprise. All in all, I totally recommend this apartment!
