How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The only thing but it was our fault for not checking, it a bit too small for 6, and no dining table. Other then that everything was great
Great host, clean and beautiful apartments, although not direct on a beach, 20 minutes drive you are in one of the best beaches ( that was recommended by the host son)

Great value for money, and the owners were very friendly, helpful and flexible. The facilities were basic, but accurately advertised, so no surprises. Good aircon!

Location is perfect, with beaches on both sides of the peninsula accessible by car or by foot. As a bonus, there is a free bus running until midnight between Lustica Bay and this apartment's location. Parking is no problem and the street is quiet. Shopping and restaurants are nearby. For funny sovieticalia buffs, there is a somewhat baffling Yuri Gagarin monument not far. Inside the rooms everything is brand new and super clean. AC in every room. If you reserve make sure you take into account the somewhat steep stairs to the bedroom. Not a problem for us though but perhaps for seniors. The owners are discreet, friendly and cultured people. There is an area shaded by vines and kiwi leaves where you can have dinner (the outside dining place even has a separate fridge and full complement of dishes and cutlery, so you don't need to carry those downstairs). For us, we preferred the one of the three balconies that were part of the apartment (one of them is completely furnished for a dinner of four). Beds are confortable... I'm running out of things to say. This place leaves nothing to be desired.

Good location to be if you want peace and quiet. Nearby there is old Radovici village which is amazing to walk around, and on the other side Lustica bay - amazing marina with lots of high level evening entretainment.

The mattress is very pilly and it comes through the sheet. I think they need to change the bed set up. The washing machine was difficult to use.
Awesome bathroom with large showerhead, the kitchen was good and there was a small balcony. There is a nearby free shuttle that takes you to the resort area.

The bathroom is miniature. The shower space is not possible to use for a normal man.
The mini kitchen is quite enough.

Oh, there would be a lot to write here. From taking the keys, to the fact that there was no hot water in the apartment. The cable television was not working and when they came to see what the problem was, the only thing they did was call the operator who said he would send someone. Unfortunately, that someone did not come while we were in the apartment. The apartment was decently clean, although the windows of the bathroom and bedroom had not been washed for a long time. There was no toilet paper, when we told the owners, the lady just pointed to a door and said: that's the pantry, you have toilet paper there, take it. In the morning we were woken up by yelling and screaming, but that was because of the terribly uncivilized people who rented the apartment next door. They said they have parking, but it's literally that you park in front of the fence if there is space. When paying, the owner said to wait for him to return the change. But that didn't happen because: surprise, he didn't have a metal coin.
The location is not very good, it is quite far from the beaches, but I must say that the view from the terrace was fantastic.

Everything was perfect. The apartment was above all, most importantly, clean and tidy. I’m for sure coming back. The hosts are so pleasant and always at your service, available for any kind of a help
