We were there out of season, so the outdoor pool was not open. But the hot tub was more like a warm bath and the steam room had an unfortunate smell.

The location and rooms were amazing. Spacious rooms that looked over the old city and gorgeous sea views. Also the breakfast was delicious, so many tasty options.

Absolutely loved the hotel, the location was fantastic - it was at the doors of the entrance to the Old Town. We literally didn't have to go anywhere: beach, restaurants, Old Town attractions, Citadel museum, THE Scenerey and Views - everything was in walking range.

I think the hotel structure is hard for elders or disabled people to use. There are lot of stair on the enterance. Also, the hotel is like a labirenth. It is hard to find hotel room or breakfast area inside the hotel

The hotel is infront of the main gate of old town. So the location is perfect. Staff is very helpful, clean rooms.

We got an upgrade to a luxury suite and it was just breathtaking. Huge 80 mtr room with a balcony with sea view, another balcony with view of old town. It made our stay exceptional.

Saunas should have their own relax room. After using sauna you can only relax by the pool with other people that make noise of course.

During check-in the receptionist guy gave us executive level room with sea view even though I booked room with no sea view and we are so grateful for that. Hotel is in the great location, we got spacious room with terrace, comfortable bed, large bathroom. Room was very clean and one of the cleaning ladies was very friendly and nice. Breakfast was good with lots of food choices.

The young man in reception desk was kind of indifferent when we reported that our car had a problem in the parking lot. He didn't like to provide any help to check the problem. Other lady receptionists are nice.

Room is spacious and seaview is wonderful, location is great and breakfast is fantastic! The staff are very nice to give me a surprise gift for my birthday.

Two things: First was that the sauna/steam room had strange opening hours (after 4pm) which was a pity as we would have liked to use them in the morning. Pools are open all day though at least. Second was that for one of the two nights we stayed there we heard a strange hammering and gurgling every 30 mins or so all through the night that at first we thought May have been a noisy neighbour but after a while we suspect it may have been coming from the air conditioning. Kept us up. We heard it at the start of the second night but decided to turn on the air con and wasn’t a problem after that.

Best location in Budva, right on the most scenic part of the coast and 100 metres to the old town. Staff were nice and we received a free upgrade to one of the large suites with terrace. The room was huge with a walk in shower and the big bed was very comfortable. The amenities were very good and the pool area was very clean and a great place to relax. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and the check-in/check out was hassle-free.

We were upgraded as soon as we arrived. The room was amazing. The view was absolutely stunning. The staff at Avala are fantastic and so lovely. A great location, so close to the old town. We will stay there again without a doubt.
