A lot of steps to get to your apartment and down to the street. Limited parking. You cannot cook meat or fish in the apartment. Okay for us as a short stay, but if staying for a longer time, it may limit food choice you can cook.

I wish the room was much cleaner in terms of basic cleaning, and it clearly needs some renovation. Our room was supposed to have a 'garden' view, but there are basically no windows in the apartment (one in the bathroom and there is a door that you can keep open, if you could count it); besides, I would not call this a garden view (just had a couple of plants, grapes, and an olive tree).

Very nice location, but it is also pretty high (145 stairs to get to one of the most popular beaches and downtown). The host was VERY nice and extremelly helpful whenever we needed assistance. He was great to talk to and shared a lot of interesting information about Budva and Montenegro. The view from this apartment complex is amazing, but our 'garden' view room and terrace did not actually give us an opportunity to enjoy it as much as we would like to. Towels were changed every day.

Apparently location is a little bit tricky. You need to walk uphill (we didn't know, it's our fault). So, on hot summer days, you will sweat during the day to get to the apartment.

The bed is veeeery comfortable. We liked the bed a lot. The room was fresh and somewhat spacious for the price you pay.

We travelled with the family: two adults and two teenagers. The place has a gorgeous view of the city and mountains! We enjoyed it every single day! We loved to have dinner on the terrace and the host Mikhail is very friendly. He suggested the beach we liked (Jaz) and mostly visited it rather than Mogren which we planned to visit mostly. He also helped to cook a delicious seafood dinner. The towels were changed every single day to fresh ones. We travelled in the middle of September, the sea is great, few people and the sun is not extremely hot as in summer. It was a nice time. And there is a parking place, which is crucial in Montenegro as we realized later.

Host was not too good. We had few issues during our stay and tried to reach him via Viber. Messages were read, but no reaction from the host side. Google Maps provide incorrect location. Use real address to find the place. Apartments were clean, but balcony was not (considering it is big enough with great view, you spend a lot of time there)

Apartment is good in general. Great view! Location is good as well if you don't mind climbing a bit using stairs. Room was cleaned every day along with towels change there is parking for guests

Fridge was not working very well, and it was small. It could be improved. Also it is hard to reach by foot, so keep in mind to go by car/taxi or anything else.

Apartment is very spacious with two big bedrooms and king bed sizes. The owner was very friendly with us and gave us tips to go around the city. It also has a pretty big balcony outside with a nice view to the city and the sea.

We loved everything

The host and the property deserves more than 10 stars. The property is very clean, spacious, comfortable, beautiful views and modern amenities which was really helpful. The host was absolutely brilliant and we feel that we have gained a new friend. He went above and beyond to make sure we saw the very best of Montenegro and experience the authenticity of it. We will 100% be returning to Contesssa Apartments in the future. Thank you for making our visit to Montenegro one of the best vacations we have ever been on :)

On arrival we were upgraded from a studio to a one bedroom apartment with a stunning view. It was truly a highlight of our trip to stay here! The property is walkable to the old town and beaches, the room was beautiful and clean with a functional kitchenette, and the hosts were kind and generous.

The apartment had basic equipment (air conditioning, refrigerator, clean towels (changed daily)). A big plus is the proximity to the store and the beach.

The rooms were very dated. Only air con in the lounge not the bedroom! Wi-Fi not existent unless on terrace. People next door shouting and loud music on terrace right outside my room between 4-5am. Long walk up steep hill to property.

Twin bad at big room is not an exact twin bad; that was and uncomfortable very old sofa and should be changed asap. Shower head was broken and should be changed as well.

Almost all is acceptable and we are happy for most things. Especially location is perfect, room is clean and owner is helpful. We will visit again.
