United KingdomI missed proximity to the sea, until I found the 3 minutes steps down to the best beach in the town. There is noise ingress from the main road so if you need ear plugs take them, only really noticable if you have doors and windows open and sea facing room. My main warning, not hotel related, don't be ill in the town as the local hospital, once one of the best military hospitals in the region, is dilapitdated, understaffed, has few facilities that's we'd expect, no internet and few working technologies, and most don't speak English. The expectation there is that guests and visitors bring the essentials including toilet paper and food, you've been warned, if you're in trouble make for Kotor an hour away.
Good choice of breakfast laid out beautifully. Roof top pool and sun lounging area with Sauna offered amazing views and cooling wind. I had an accident whilst there (whilst boating) and used hotel to recuperate until I could fly again. The staff were AMAZING, taking care, giving me room on bottom floor, carrying things for me, ordering taxi's and their sushi take in (so recommended, on par with the best Sushi restaurants in the UK) and also translating and writing documents for my stay in the hospital and return on the plane. Marija, Jelena, Valeska and Teodora made all the difference in the world and should be the standard for all hotels, they trumped it all by ordering me the cheapest taxi transfer I could find and changing the car so I'd be comfortable on the journey back. My room was spacious, scrupulously clean and serviced every day, with a well stocked fridge including chocolate and great TV's with choice of stations.

Great experience!!! The property is at the entrance of Igalo city, short walking distance to the nice, clean beach and a number of restaurants, and about 15 minutes walking distances from the old city of Herceg Novi. The hotel is newly opened, quite and modernly designed. Room was very clean, cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely magnificent with variety of daily fresh choices. Warm, welcoming stuff, very friendly and helpful. Thank you Marija, Maša, Miloš and everyone in the hotel for making our experience exceptional. We are looking forward to come back here!

United Kingdom- It would be good if the price of entry tickets for the forts were included in the price of the old town tour - They have a really well-stocked bar but we never saw anyone serving drinks or using it, we definitely would've had a nightcap had the opportunity been there!
- The staff were so welcoming and helpful, they helped us book a number of excursions and provided us with some great recommendations (special shout out to Maria, Tijan and Snezana) - The room was absolutely great, really spacious with cool decor and a lovely sea view (well worth the extra cost) - We really enjoyed the breakfast, plenty of hot and cold options - The beach and restaurant associated with the hotel are great

Everything at this Hotel is exceptional and absolutely exceeds expectations! If you’re looking for the highest level of hospitality and service - this is the place to be! The staff is extraordinary and fulfilled all our (extra) wishes. I had a surprise birthday party set up by the hotel staff and it was an absolute blast. This is by far the best service I’ve experienced and we do travel lot. I’d definitely recommend Garni Hotel Kruso and would come back anytime!

GermanyOnly instant coffee for breakfast, espresso/americano is charged at 2,50€ each (more than the same company charges at their beachfront bar). The breakfast in general is only okay. Nothing special, although not bad. The blankets are strange and too short, but we were given an additional blanket wich was sufficient in size. The pillows are cheap and uncomfortable. Only the living room of the apartment has airconditioning, the sleeping room has no seperate a/c. The property is right next to the main highway, resulting in constant noise, however the rooms are somewhat soundproof (to outside noise), which was okay re street noise with closed windows and roller shutter. Soundproofing to the hallway and other rooms is bad though.
The personal is very nice and the property is well maintained. The build quality of the hotel appears good and has a high standard.
