Beds are a bit old, and there're not enough power sockets for everyone, and not a lot of space to store things

Some of the staff fighting in front of the guests a lot so there was negatitity in the air. The showers were very dirty.

I have been in that hostel many times and comparing to my earlier stays the hostel had levelled down. Facilities were broken and toilets were in a very bad shape. I like the atmospere of the hostel anyway and I think the voluteers were trying to do their best. Private room was ok. And the cats are also lovely. Had some nice moments also with other guests and staff like eating together in the evenings and playing games together.

It was a hostel, but some holes and stains on the bedding .they had been washed but still not appealing

Hostel is location in a hilly area, which is not very far bur in a scorching summer day can be a bit tiresome. And at my room unfortunately the AC was just on top of me. I could stop it but did not find the remote. So, I wont complain about this since I think it was other guests mistake or mine.

The staff was helpful and the common are was quite nice.

It was not the cleanest place I’ve stayed at but the main problem were the bathrooms that are really not suited for common use (no hooks, no cover on the bin …)

The common spaces are really homelike and great to hang out in ! There is air conditioning in the room which is a must in summer times

Even though everything is cleaned once a day, the toilets smell after some time because you have to throw the toilet paper in trash cans.

The bathrooms do need some repair, showers and under toilets were leaking a bit; but its nothing that some caulk can’t fix!

The staff are like a family, and if you are staying here for a while (7+ days), they will warm up to you. The staff were really accommodating and helpful. There are multiple tiers in the building and a rooftop terrace, you can get a great view of the main port and sea just about anywhere. There is air conditioning in the rooms which was so nice during the 30-40 degree celsius heat. Truly a blessing to stay here and be able to save money on accommodations because the town is very expensive (food and drink daily). I would recommend anyone to stay here!

We booked a private room and the window was forward to shared kitchen so we couldn’t open it very well and the air in the room was bad. The furniture is old and not very comfortable. The hostel is in an old building and not very clean

There is a nice ans big common room where you can eat a delicious self cooked dinner for 6 Euro. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We met nice other travelers there.

The water heater was broken which I was not informed about and was not easy to take comfortable shower. Facilities need to be repaired and looked after better. Not easy to find (the location does not match accurately with the maps.me)

For the price, it was what I expected. After all, it is a hostel that has the basics. But what changed my perspective was the human warmth that was there.

I came to Tivat because I had a problem, I couldn't find accommodation until I saw Hostel Anton, I want to emphasize the attention of the place, the people were very warm, they were always aware of anything. They let me check in before 11 (I arrived at 9) and they had no problem. They have a nice terrace, from where you can see the Adriatic Sea. The truth is that the place is very economical.

The 4 bed dorm was a bit dingy looking. A coat of white paint would have made all the difference. Would have been cramped if 4 people had stayed. The curtain was see-through at night. No food to purchase at the bar. I did ask about dinner and was told by the barman he would need to ask the owner so I didn't enquire further. Later when I saw people being served with food I was told I should have ordered before 6pm!

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The huge lounge was comfortable with lots of seating space and books to read and had a great atmosphere. Free coffee (instant) and water all day. Roof top to watch sunset or sunrise but quite hot in full sun even with the one umbrella up there. Air conditioning that worked plus an extra fan.
