The hostel was incredibly clean and the staff was very kind and helpful. The owner Emre especially made it feel like a family home. The location is a perfect compromise between the old town and the beach.

The location is not that great you have to walk 25 minutes to the habour. But it is totally worth it!

It was a bit difficult to locate the hostel for me personally although a map was sent.

The owners were friendly and initially wanted to show me a map of the main attractions but I was only staying a night. Everything was clean and tidy. Rooms were air-conditioned. Checking in and out was easy.

Lovely little hostel walking distance from the train and bus stations in bar. Very friendly, chill vibe! Best part of all was the host Emre! He was so kind and understanding when our bus arrived late - waiting patiently for us until 2:30 in the morning!! He also gave us so many amazing tips on great places to visit around Bar. The smell from the bathroom, this is more the plumbing side of things, but it isn't a nice smell. I think it comes back up the trap. However the bathroom is clean. Toilet is high and not comfortable. Just minor things, and for the cheap price and be over looked. Wish they offered breakfast and drinks, as restaurants or shop is not so close.

The location seems a bit strange at first, but actually it works out well. About 20 mins walk to old town in 1 direction, 20 mins to the new town, 10 mins to bus/train station. So perfect in the end. Staff super friendly, Brazilian volunteer is great. Owner is helpful and friendly too. Showers were hot.

Finding the hostel can be not so straight forward but with the instructions given by Emre you will be able to sort that out!

Emre was an amazing host who will goes the extra miles to make sure that you have a great stay there! I appreciate the extra attention he gave to all his guests for example for my case putting me in separate dorm room that has no other guests so that I can enjoyed a bit more privacy and calmness. Emre was also very helpful who will not hesitate to give you any information or advice to plan your travel. The hostel is new and the building was designed and built in mind with exactly everything that a great hostel needs to be! Everything was perfect, from perfectly equipped kitchen to comfy and not too overcrowarded dorm rooms to new and spacious bath room, kitchen area and common area, and also the hostel is spotless!!! Location wise Hostel Hangout in my opinion is also very well situated! Au contraire to my initial thought where the hostel is a bit away from the beach and commercial area, when you put the old town Stari Bar and the bus/train station on the map, Hostel Hangout is actually situated quite in the middle of these locations. Acutally the bus/train station is way closer, it is only about 5 - 10 min walks max from the hostel so another plus point for travellers who is taking the public transport!!!! This is one of the best hostels that i have stayed in and defintely one of the best at Bar and in Montenegro! Considering also the price per night Hostel Hangout is extremely great value for money and it has way exceeded my expectations!! I will absolutely stay in this hostel again when I come back to Bar and I recommend this hostel to any travellers without any hesitation!!

The location was a little walk from the town but really wasn’t a problem.

Emre, the owner, made this stay extra special. I upgraded to a private room and stayed for a couple days. The Hostel is new and clean and the bathroom faculties are fantastic. Emre took us (his guests) into the town in his car, to various attractions and helped us wherever possible. If you want to go somewhere you’ll feel safe, welcome and have a great time, this is the place for you!

My stay at the Hangout Hostel was amazing. The hostel owner is super nice, everything is very clean and new and the atmosphere is just as relaxed as the hostel’s name promises. I also really liked the location because you can reach both, Bar and Stari Bar by foot. I would definitely recommend that hostel when in Bar!

Very nice and open owners. They told me about many interesting places to see in Montenegro. Everything in hostel is brand new and clean. In garden many trees with tasty fruits. The best figs in Montenegro :) Close to the hostel is shop and small backery.

A brand new hostel run by an amazing guy with a very positive vibe and always available for his guests. The bathroom is AMAZING. it looks like the bathroom you can find in a 4-star hotel. I am NOT joking. By the way the hostel is nearby the train station that can takes you to the Skadar lake ' s entrance for a very very low fare. Guys don't hesitate go there. you won't find a better deal in Bar/Montenegro
