How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Some people might find street leading to parking quite narrow so I would consider that twice if you are planning every day trips by car. If you just park once and enjoy Budva few days on foot - its perfect place for you.
One of the best hotels I have been to when considering city side, even city centre. Apartmant with jacuzzi on terrace on the 5th floor is truly amazing. Other rooms modern, clean with comfortable beds - more or less standard but much better than the most in Budva these days. Factors that really makes a difference are subsequently absolutely great service and the best receptionist you can find and the underground parking. Breakfast is really good however more minimalistic than hedonistic when it comes to variety. Do not forget to order one of freshly-made dishes from the menu in addition to swedish table offered :)

We ordered the room with the jacuzzi, looking forward to enter, it was all dirty and cold. We asked to change the water but they told us it will take a day for the jacuzzi to be ready. After a day the jacuzzi did'nt work at all. It was cold and also ELECTRIFYING!! The staff did'nt care much. So DON'T USE IT, you can hurm yourself.
The hotel in general was very good. The breakfast was satisfying, the staff were nice and the room was comfortable and spacious. Just couple of minutes walking to anywhere in the city.

1.Breakfast selection was very poor 2. Electricity frequently cutting out 3. Tried to check out early morning and no one at reception except security guy that didn’t speak English only Polish

Booked a room with sea view but could barely see the sea, not worth the extra cost unfortunately.
The hotel staff was really kind, especially the girl that helped us with the check in. Followed us up to our room and showed us how everything worked, stunning service! Great with free car parking!

- at breakfast, we were told that we would have to pay extra if you want coffee from the machine like a cappuccino etc (something that was not dissolved from powder). A bit cheap for a hotel that advertised as a 4 star. - breakfast itself was definitely mediocre (at best) for this kind of hotel and prices. I personally was glad we only had a short stay for this. - airconditioning is available, however, it only works if you are in the room and the card is in the lock. Which is causes a bit inconvenience if you have been away all day as the room warmed up quickly. - not entirely clean. On arrival we found dried up noodles on the couch. Underneath the couch there was a layer of dust of at least 2 weeks. Bathroom and bed were clean however.
+ they have an underground parking lot, handy if you travel by your own car. Definitely if you see how the locals park there car on every impossible spot. + We had the suite, which comes with a great private terrace to sunbathe and enjoy the jacuzzi. We were very happy with this privacy in contrast to the busy city. This luxury makes up for a lot. + Reception was friendly

when the food was missing during the breakfast the staff needed to be prompted to replenish, every day the same choice for breakfast, no coffee machine for breakfast, no restaurant open afterwars, thus you cannot have a lunch or dinner once you're staying at the swiming pool, no cocktails either dirty beaches nearby no capable personnel (apart from one person)
location was pretty much ok, far from the noisy centre and yet still a walking distance (a. 1,8 km) one staff member was a real pro

I wish the pool had longer operating hours. It would be nice to swim after dinner.
Comfortable, spacious rooms. Modern small hotel. Excellent parking in garage under the building included. Lovely pool. Breakfast is nice.
