Had to keep curtains drawn to avoid being seen from terrace tables. Spa area was gloomy and toilet seat broken furniture dark and out of date. Dinner (liver and a burger) was badly cooked. Pool was not in use. Hard to see how it merits 4 stars

Breakfast was croissants cereal, machine coffee cold meats and cheese. Generous portions but hardly any fruit. Location was in the centee of the park so a great place to explore. Free jacuzzi and sauna with bathrobes (required 1 hour prior booking)

The location of the hotel is perfect, in the Lovćen national park. It is the excellent start point for visiting Njegoš's Mausoleum. We went there in the morning before the crowd.

A very minor point is that they charge a lot for bottles of water, but given everything else is pretty much good, that can easily be overlooked.

Property is a little dated and has seen better days. Probably not getting enough people to stay. Some areas could be cleaned and equipped a little better, but the cost fairly reflects the negatives. Large evening meal menu, but not all items available. Could do with a fruit option to go with the yoghurt for breakfast. Sheets too small for beds. All small things. The good more than outweighed any negatives.

Stunning mountain views. Great location in Lovcen NP. Near to mausoleum and walking routes at Ivanova Korita. Friendly helpful staff who couldn't do enough for us, particularly the waiter. The receptionist was warm and friendly and directed us to a great walk. Perfect location for walking in Lovcen. Some food was excellent, some average. Bar and food prices were quite low.

The only minor things I noticed was part of the skirting board had fallen off in our room, and the toiletries holder in the shower was half hanging off but honestly such a minor!!

Was a picturesque place with very attentive staff! Such a lovely hotel, with a massive room! The location was set in such a beautiful place, we really enjoyed it here and we’re pleasantly surprised by this place. Highly recommend!

Breakfast was very poor, overcooked and burnt. Beverages of very poor quality. Juice watery and no real coffee. Restaurant staff rude and unfriendly. I wonder what made this hotel a 4 star.

A coach trip arrived on one of my days, and it appeared that breakfast started earlier for them, so when I arrived at 8am, there were very few options left.

This hotel is in a lovely location and the food and drinks prices are very good considering there isn't a huge amount of competition. The safe are very friendly and helpful.

Location of the hotel is ideal for hiking and cycling in the heart of the Lovcen National Park. Our bedroom was immaculate and spacious including a lounge area. The staff were really friendly and the restaurant was offering a wide range of food at affordable prices. Special memories about Pongo the St Bernard dog of the hotel who spent a full day hiking with us showing us the way. Adorable!!!

Indoor smoking permitted. Regardless of “non smoking” signs posted in certain sections of the restaurant, the whole place reeked of smoke. We only stayed overnight, but would not want to visit in high season when the fog would be suffocating.

Room size and amenities were excellent. While we were travelling as a couple, I am certain it would be a great accommodation for families seeking to get outdoors. Restaurant meal portions extremely generous. Should have shared a single entrée and breakfast. Went off-season in mid-April, so occupancy was low and, consequently, service was attentive. Staff was friendly. We did not explore the hiking trails, so cannot comment.

I had read that the food wasn’t that good but I was unprepared for how bad it really was. I ordered the sausages thinking that would be hard to mess up but they were so overcooked it was like chewing beef jerky. Breakfast was included but overcooked as well

Great location inside the park and near the drive up the mountain to the mausoleum. Friendly staff. Room was clean but walls are thin and easy to hear other guests.

I don’t think that smoking is banned in public places in Montenegro so there was smoke smells in the corridors and even in the dining room as we ate. My neighbour smoked even during the night which seemed to come through into our bedroom perhaps from the balcony which was unpleasant.

The hotel was in the perfect location for walking if the weather is kind. The staff upgraded my room when I asked for a kettle to make tea and coffee. There was a hob, but no pans or kettle although the intention was there and this meant we had a room to eat in as well as the bedroom. Views from the windows were stunning.

Hotel is lovely and facilities are good. But what made it really special for me was stuff. Aleksandra in reception was super helpful and two gentleman in the restaurant were also very helpful. Everyone was going beyond to help us. Really great team. Me and my partner didn’t have car with us so stuff helped us a lot to organise our stay and transfers. Hotel is situated very close to a lot of hiking trails which made it perfect for my trip. Very relaxing surroundings, good size room and clean bathroom.

The cleanliness of the pool and its surroundings could be improved. We have been here for the third time, we will return again, but the lowest floor of the hotel has its shortcomings in the toilet, high humidity and mold can be felt in the premises, simply put: the ground floor seems dead and lifeless to me, it was not even possible to turn on the light there. The bottom of the pool needs to be cleaned more often. It slightly reduces the overall feeling of the hotel and is completely unnecessary, because otherwise the staff is terrible and as I said, we will come back here again.
