Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomOnly negative was the construction going on in the hotel next door which was quite noisy, but this is not reflective of Hotel Pima
Breakfast was nice every morning, location was ideal for the old town, beach and bus station, the rooms were big, clean & comfortable and the staff were incredibly friendly & helpful

IrelandThe roadworks around the hotel when we arrived made it tricky to get into the carpark but the owner and Ogie came to our assistance.
Ogie at reception was so helpful and pleasant and gave us a lovely welcome. The room was very spacious with a balcony.

United KingdomN/A - be nice to have hooks to hang towels but that’s minimal
Cannot speak more highly of our time at Pima due to how amazing the manager Ogyen is! Oggi went out of his way to ensure we had the absolute best stay, sorted out a cake for my girlfriend’s birthday, always on hand for drinks and was simply incredible. The hotel is super modern, lovely rooms and nice view, near to old town and the breakfast is good :)

United KingdomThe hotel was a great location as it was only 15 minutes away from the old town. The breakfast was good and the pool was a nice size as well. The hotel manager Ogynen was a fantastic host, who was extremely friendly and was able to provide recommendations of things to do and where to eat.

United KingdomBreakfast could be better - but it’s really not that bad. In terms of facilities, small recommendations: - secure safe (you could literally just pull it out) - hooks for your towels - recliner sun loungers - bin in the room (we just used the bathroom one) - long mirror & a small beauty mirror in bathroom would be nice - reception and breakfast area was a little dated. I’m sure this will be brought in line with the rest of the modern hotel in time. All very minor things that didn’t impact our stay
We really enjoyed our stay at Pima 25th Sept for 5 nights. The hotel was very clean and the staff where really kind and helpful. The unfinished building work next door wasn’t an issue at all… we were advised it will soon be another new hotel. There’s lots of development around Montenegro. So seeing an unfinished building really wasn’t a big deal. Beds were comfortable (we had to ask for a double sheet over our pushed together twin beds. This was done the next morning and was no issue. Facilities in the room where basic but fine for us (we’re not huge coffee/tea drinkers) people on these reviews seem to very cross about the lack of these facilities in the room but it didn’t bother us. I actually enjoyed the instant coffee at breakfast everyone is talking about, as there was hot milk provided which made it nice and creamy. The little home made cakes on offer everyday where a real treat too! Great location - short walk from the old town and very central to get to Kotor / Tivat via car. Free parking was also greatly appreciated :)

PortugalBig, modern and confortable rooms and bathroom. Much better than expected. Also good location, 5min walking from city center, which was also a surprise, with a super cool vibe. The downpoint was the breakfast, basic and tasteless.

Very comfortable and clean rooms, amazing and varied breakfast (especially the sweets, every day something else), super friendly staff, very attentive and helpful also with recommendations for nice places for dinning or drinks in Budva and surrounding beaches. Free parking both outdoors and indoors, supermarket downstairs.. Close to the old town (10-max 15min walking) and Budva main beach (10 min). We had a wonderful stay and a very enjoyable vacation. IsraelI think the room could be cleaner. There was dust on the bathroom counter and other stuff. I also wish the bed was bigger but I think this is standard size in Montenegro. Breakfast was not my cup of tea but my friend enjoyed it and it was included in the room’s price.
The staff was kind and helpful. It was a good location near the old town and it is located in a quiet neighborhood. The room was spacious enough for two people and it had a nice balcony overlooking the pool.

United KingdomRequested an iron but had to go down to get it. Hotels of this size should offer room service. Also only one iron for a very large hotel. No board provided.
Staff could have not been more welcoming and helpful during our stay. Lovely hotel situated walking distance from old town and with a shop outside for any necessities. Rooms very comfortable with large walk in shower and also very large and comfortable bed. Lovely pool area for relaxing and also had a few beers on the house by the staff which was very much appreciated!

United StatesI usually never write these reviews but I wanted to write one in this case.. This was one of the best stays of all of my travels. The location of the place was great and the staff was awesome so was the breakfast, but what made this stay exceptional is due to one individual, his name is Ognjen (Ogi)..He went above and beyond from the very first day, before we’ve even checked in..Ogi was extremely professional, friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful about anything we’ve needed, I definitely recommend anyone reading this to come and stay here, you won’t regret it. 10/10
