Location, service, cleanliness, on short everything.

It was difficult to find the right place to park. Another small minus was the sound of electricity crackling through the wires at night time. The sauna was not hot enough for us Northern europeans.

The villa is located in the middle of Stari bar amid all the restaurants and cafes and only a short walk away from the main attraction - the fortress. The room was spacious and clean, we liked the cosy decor. The bathroom was well equipped.

So we booked this villa but we’re really pleasantly surprised to find that it’s part of a hotel so we could use the spa facilities, pool and delicious buffet breakfast. It was so clean and the studio room had a very comfortable king size bed and free toiletries. The staff were very polite and helpful and spoke excellent English. We only stayed one night but would have stayed longer if we didn’t need to move on. If you are coming to Stair bar stay here. It’s wonderful

Was perfect.

Because of repairs in Villa Irma, we were offered room in Stara Čaršija Hotel & SPA. We spent there really great day. So, hotel is gorgeous, SPA is cosy and beautiful, rooms are excellent with luxury atmosphere and nice window view, we had fantastic breakfast in fantastic restaurant (I think it's nice idea to take a diner there next time), last but not least staff was very polite and helpful... But this is opinion about hotel not villa :-)

could be a little more furnish to cook

Perfect place inside the old city of Bar, big and clean, with a great view ! and the breakfast was one of the best we had in Montenegro.

There was an old menu at the room, so we got excited about wide selection and prices, but after arrival to restaurant we were surprised by narrower menu and higher prices.

Everything else was absolutely perfect! The location in the heart of old Bar town with stunning views on the fortification. Actually we expected just a random apartment, but after arrival we found out it's a part of decently sized hotel resort with restaurant, swimming pools and spa at one place. It is a small maze of stairs and alleys but there is always some personel willing to help. Everything was clean and prepared for relaxing holiday. Included breakfast was awesome with plenty of different kinds of food. It was the best place we stayed during our travel around Montenegro.

A bit of a bad smell in the bathroom.

The best place I have ever stayed. The beautiful old town, unique window view, atmospheric room, and the most helpful staff I have ever met. They helped with parking a car and taking luggage, even if you have only a backpack. Everyone stands up when you enter the reception. For this money, I didn't even imagine such a service. We were treated like V.I.P. Breakfast was delicious, fresh and with wide selection of products. Restaurant staff at the same high level. Just look at a waitress and in seconds, she is next to you with help. Despite the busy alley outside the window, you will find peace and silence if you close the windows. Hats off.

Due to reconstruction of the road in front of the building I was moved to the Spa & Wellness hotel that’s connected to Villa Irma. For that reason I can’t rank this specific room, but the staff were amazing and helpful and the area was so lovely. Great experience!

The only things we did not like were: 1. There was no easy way to get to the property entrance on a car 2. The property does not have elevator, so taking heavy bags up two flights of stairs was quite a challenge 3. The ceiling at the entrance and in a few other places is low, so tall people need to watch their heads. All the other things were just great.

The breakfast was great. Due to lack of customers instead of a standard buffet they have allowed us to pick anything from the menu for free. Eggs Benedict were delicious. Villa is located just a few minutes of walk to the Old Bar citadel on a street with lots of shops and cafeterias.

For some reason there was little hot water in the shower in the morning and if you open cupboard under the sink there was a not good smell - so don't open it and it will be fine. Small and narrow stairs can be a problem with a big luggage.

We had problems trying to find the reception but it was our fault as we did not read the message left by the hotel on Booking. Should you book this Villa, remember to read the messages or remember that the reception is in the restaurant Stara Čaršija situated on the upper road then the Villa. Despite our problems, the Villa was great. A spacious room with a view on the castle and the Stari Grad Bar and a kitchen annex. Well maintained with a nice decor. Very friendly and helpful staff (a staff member helped us dragged our heavy luggage form the reception to the Villa - as it is a bit from the reception, if you have a car it is actually better to dive to the reception first, then drive down, leave the bags and drive back up for the hotel parking), English speaking. Very good breakfast as a buffet, coffee and tea you have to order and for some reason I waited very long for my tea... but it was good. In the evening it can get loud in the room because of the restaurants ect. on the Stari Grad Bar. But around 23 to midnight everting calms down. Comfy bed.
