The location is a little away from the city center, but not a real problem because it’s very green and clean area with some sports outlets around.

Three people at reservation were the best. They helped us change our room, help with money exchange and informed us of the city and traffic. Also the waiters and waitresses were all nice although some of then did not understand English. Especially the oldest waiter was very kind towards us.

bathrooms should be rehabilitated and equipped with showers, not bathtubs. they are currently obsolete. the food at the restaurant is poor: the dishes are soaked in oil, the pasta is overcooked

Hotel Alexandar Palace is by far hotel with the best service in Skopje - ,with guest needs at the center of attention, superb professionalism and very experienced staff - rare to find in Skopje these days in hotel industry. Reception staff helped me a lot and they were excellent. Rooms are beautiful, very modern and have all amenities. My room had beautiful terracd with a great view. I love SPA area with a gym and pool. Breakfast was excellent and I particularly appreciated their flexibility when I was a bit late - no issues with it which shows the quality of staff training. Overall, the best service and the best facilities you can get kn Skopje.

The water in the shower wasn't a constant hot temperature - it wasn't a problem but some people might find it an issue.

The breakfast was excellent. A selection of meats, cheeses, cake, bread, fruit, salad and some hot options (eg eggs). Coffee, teas, juices etc. We also had an evening meal there one evening which was very tasty and good value. The people on the front desk were really helpful. Tip - make sure you ask them for help and advice otherwise they will stay out of your way. However, the minute we asked for information about how to get around and what to see they were ringing people to arrange day trips, giving us advice on how to not get over charged on taxi rides and so on. The rooms were lovely and large, comfy bed, there was a kettle and a small fridge. The location was great - It's a 40 min walk into the city centre and easy to get a taxi back. There is a tennis club next door where you can hire courts, which we did and they were very good. This hotel is great and I would stay again - its decor is slightly quirky compared to a boring modern new hotel but if you prefer something with a bit of charactor then this will suit you. The only thing that might cause some older guests an issue is the shower which was over the bath which was quite high (might be tricky to sep in and out).

Thin toilet paper doesn't suite to the hotel profile. Also, it's time to renew the hotel.

Excellent hotel at the prefect location, professional and perfect stuff, good SPA center, good breakfast. But - the best of the best is - voice guidance in the elevator. I would drive in just to hear the recorded voice. :-)

Toiletries were missing a shower gel, they only included shampoo snd soap. No moisturizers neither.
