How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

matrasses are too soft, after one night my back hurt so much that we left the following day, so if you are not used to sleeping on soft matrasses, do not go there. Also the loud musik until midnight in the restaurant was not pleasant, I am early bird and like to go to bed early. But if you are night bird and want to spend countless hours in "kafana" this is the perfect location for you, drink all you want and go to bed without needing to walk or drive.
excellent location, however studios are above a very famous restaurant that is always full, hence it is noisy if your room happens to be on the side of the terace. on the other hand, excellent fish soup for breakfast.

The street was sometimes a bit noisy, but earplugs at night made for a wonderful sleep.
Spacious studio with large bed, kitchenette, and private bathroom. Great attached restaurant.

You should wait for the hot watter in the shower long time and the curtain will be good to have. Otherwise all arround including toilet was wet.
Good apartment with everything you need. If anything was missing the staff in the restaurant helped us.

We have nothing negative.
The place was very nice, clean and overall we had an amazing stay. This was our first stay at Dojran and we're really glad we chose it and Fuk-tak. A great choice for sleepover when returning from Greece. The restaurant is amazing and one of the best fish we've ever had.

Very comfortable accommodation. A great choice for a sleepover on your trip to or from the holiday in Greece but also for a longer stay. They have a great fish restaurant that would be a big mistake to miss. All recommendations.

It's very easy to get to the property, there's a free parking space and also very good and popular restaurant in the ground floor. Staff is nice and welcoming, very helpful. Although located on a main road, there's hardly any noise over night, and we slept well.

Big recommendation for Fuk - Tak. The rooms are very clean and spacious and the beds are very large and comfortable. The food is good, the staff is very friendly. Parking is provided and free of charge.

Air conditioning is way past its cleaning time and the unpleasant odour is present from the AC. At least in room 1-4. Room doesn't have a balcony and is next to street. It can get noisy because of traffic.
Clean. Incredibly comfortable beds. The best location in Star Dojran. Great tv channels choice. New room and bathroom. Great value for the price. Parking is available next to the building on the right side when looking from the street. The guy is probably waiting and telling you how and where to park.

Price, place, huge apartment, cleanliness, good food. There is no logic to have long drives and drive tired. Be sure to stop by Fuk Tak.

Fantastic apartment. Everything was super clean and hosts were really helpful. Bed is really comfy and lake is just across the street. We would totally recommend this apartment.

I found a few days later that I was charged 9000 Macedonian Denars or 195 Canadian dollars for one night. It's supposed to be around 40 Canadian Dollars. That means I was charged five times more for this stay which is way too much. Messaged hotel management days ago but didn't receive any reply. Also WiFi connection was so slow making web communication impossible.
Clean and well-maintained apartment. Excellent location. Restaurant with great food.
