Good combination of price and quality. For this price everything is ok, but I would like to notice few things. Registration procedure has been done by staff of hostel (not by owner personally) and we had few issues: Staff made a picture of my passport of his phone, usually should be taking just data, not picture. It was impossible to pay during registration as I had 20 euros, and staff didn't have money with himself to return me the rest. I didn't care about currency EUR or makedonian money, but he had not both. Impossible to pay by card. I needed to looking around to exchange money, but it was challenging as I arrived late evening and Makedonia is not a place, where you can pay by euros in shops or restaurants. After we were solved this question with owner personally, everything is good. The building is a bit old and room is not such perfect clean, it will be challenging for people, who pretends for modern and totally clean area. Anyway for this price that's great chose!

We had a pleasant stay at this hostel. The shared kitchen was a fantastic feature, and the staff were very helpful. The location was also very convenient. It was close to a supermarket, which made buying groceries a breeze. Additionally, the hostel is within walking distance of a bus stop, making it easy to get around the city. ~Love from Malaysia

Skopje Best Hostel has been great for me. It is located right next to one of the biggest grocery stores in the city (and open on Sunday, unlike many) and there are several restaurants in the shopping center as well. Further, it is very convenient to the central bus station/airport bus where there are more restaurants. It is only a few minute walk to the busy center. I like it so much that I immediately booked another 10 day stay a few days after my first.

I liked the location very close to the skopje bus station for well-established arrivals and departures, welcoming staff. clean showers and beds with comfortable curtains they offer free cereals and coffee very close to a large VERO super market ... and the city center is a few minutes from the hostel... I will come back soon⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👋

Location of the hostel was good if you are taking a bus or need to stop at the mall. Hostel in strange location but it worked.

It is located in a dodgy looking apartment block, but once inside it is absolutely fine.

The dorm was comfortable with great blackout curtains, the staff were friendly, helpful and flexible with when I paid. The kitchenette had everything I needed for a 2 night stay.

It is not a traditional hostel. It is an appartment and there is no reception. There is not a real kichen, only a kettle and a micro-wave.

The best hostel in the Balkans. Amazing location, amazing staff and amazing price. Toilets were clean, Wi-Fi connection is great, mattresses are soft and comfortable to sleep on. The accommodation is close to the train and bus station, which is opposite Vero Jumbo, and is close to all amenities. The owners are very friendly. I highly recommend it to everyone

The address number was 16 in the booking.com e-mail but the correct number is 14. Added a picture of the door in this review. Curtains on the windows would be nice. But all beds have curtains so it's ok.

The location is perfect, near to the central bus station and near to the main square in the city center. The hostel is new, and the linens, the matrices and the towels were new. Perfect for that low price.

I was the first guest to visit the hostel so most of the things that were not ideal were related to the place not being fully ready, for example the tv wasn't working but the host came in 15 minutes to fix it and was friendly to accommodate whatever I needed There aren't any private rooms but I guess that's a problem with the apartment layout which isn't easy to fix

The hostel is located between the main bus station and the square which is a great location for anyone just arriving or departing soon All of the appliances and furniture are new and of quality (impressive fridge with energy rating A) and they're fully equipped (I think it was the first time I saw a toaster in my life), the bed isn't squeaky etc

There is no shower facilities inside the washroom inside the 8 bed dorm room. So, there is only 1 shower room shared with all. There's no hairdryer as well

The 8 beds dorm room is large for you to let your backpack opened up. There's a big locker (with key) which I can put my 40L backpack inside. There's open kitchen in the common room which you can use oven to heat the food.

Hard to find, and it’s more like and apartment that someone turned into a hostel. Maybe that’s a thing in Skopje because the other one I stayed was the same. But in general ok!

One shower for 12 people. I booked a 4 person dorm was placed in a 8 person dorm. I told staff i booked a four person not 8. Did nothing. Theres no real reception just some guy that is there sometimes. Door is hard to close on way out so a lot of people dont close it properly so most of the time the front door is just open. People smoke in the kitchen so it smells everywhere.
