Staff were unhelpful. Ran out of basic food for breakfast. Had to ask for items Like fruit and bread. No mirror in room. Safe didn’t work. Staff shrugged shoulders when quiered this.

Lovely hotel right in the centre of old bazaar, rooms are great with all you need, breakfast was buffet and tasty, great value for money, staff were so helpful, again location is key here, Skopje just a 5 mins walk!!

Before giving a room to a guest, staff should make sure everything is looking good and working perfectly for the check in. Well, in our bathroom there was a leaking from the heater we believe. All floor kept being wet. As we were 1 night only and arrived late, didn’t really bothered to complain but as suggestion to the hotel staff. Make sure you check the rooms before doing the check in to the guest. Another thing you should be aware of and the hotel cannot do anything about it. Early in the morning you will hear CLEARLY all the prayers from the mosques. It might wake you up so, better to bring earplugs with you.

Location is perfect. Hotel is also well decorated and the staff is very helpful.

Despite of mattresses being soft,the rest was perfect.

The location was perfect at the heart of the old bazar,surrounded not only by shops but algo good restaurants and cafes. Due to its location was also very close to Macedonia square and the stone bridge(5 mins walk).The room was spacious and clean, the bathroom was also very clean and had everything that was needed.The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also very delicious, it offered local products and typical dishes . I highly reccomend this hotel if you happen to stay a few nights in Skopje.

In generally I did like the hotel, especially the friendly stuff. I just think they just send once an electrician to repair/fix the electric contacts. Out of six in our room just one was working. So we couldn t use the coffee machine, the lamps at the bed - and had to reload the computer and telephones in the bathroom. Also it might be useful to attend guests arriving by car that they should try to drive to Hotel Arka since the navigator is leading them otherwise into a walking district.

For me this is two stars quality hotel, but considering how much it costs you get what you have paid for. Expect accomodation according the price not as the stars of the hotel shows.

Everything is on short walking distance, so location is great. It was clean and we had nice 2 overnight stax

The pillows were not the most comfortable ones. Also the breakfast was okay, there was not so much choice of for example bread and pastries, if that is what you are used to. Also I think it is a waste that the “rooftop restaurant” was only open for breakfast, would be nice if it was also open for a drink or small bites during the day

I wasn’t a fan of the toilet seat - it was an odd size and shape and quite uncomfortable. Although the location is good for being in the city centre, it is near mosque which have prayers blasting through speakers at 5am and if you’re a light sleeper it will wake you up. It woke me up once.

The location was excellent - right in the old bazaar so you can walk around the city centre easily. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was small but decent.

The room size was quite compact, however okay for short stay.

Good and comfortable stay. Just in the heart of the Old town and bazar. Quite new and fresh property. Room were clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, however the highlight was that it was on roof top with great view. In all a good stay.

No shampoo or conditioner provided - they advertise as a 4* hotel so this was unusual (and nowhere to put toiletries when showering - a little shelf would be nice). Also, room 101 didn't get quiet until about 11.30pm and that was a Sunday! Sound travels up from reception and the lift, and from adjoining buildings. Plug next to the bed was also broken, and the other usable one I didn't find at first as it was hidden behind the bed. Reception staff could do with being a bit more upbeat, but were efficient and organised.

Amazing breakfast! Especially the scrambled eggs. Good location although not quite where Google Maps shows it - you have to turn down a side street to reach it. Close to the Old Bazaar and easy walking distance to Macedonia Square. Great shower. Facilities in the room were generally good.
