Excellent location in the old town with a splendid view from the balcony (the lake and church St. Sophia) Many restaurants and shops around, 5 minutes walk to the Bazaar street. The owner was very nice and helpful.

Bed was hard, and there was a lot of noise from local chatter early in the morning. Listing was ambiguous on payment, which had to be in cash. Parking is mentioned in the listing and is street parking, which may be close or a bit further depending upon what you can find when you arrive.

Location was excellent. Right in the middle of the Fortress area. The Piano Room was spacious, lovely balcony, though the bed was a bit hard.

It’s simple but good, thin walls though, could hear other rooms just talking and the street noises even when windows closed (the ac made terrible noise so didn’t turn on to help with the noise)

The location of the house is perfect. It’s within walking distance of everything we needed and wanted to see in Ohrid. Nikola was an amazing host. He replied quickly to every message and helped us with everything we needed; best burek in town, found us a taxi at 5am, brought us something we asked for at 10pm and gave us the best recommendations for lunch and dinner.We had the best time and will remember Ohrid forever and our stay at Casa Germanoff made it even better. Casa Germanoff is in old town. It was near to Ohri Lake. The building has a wonderful view of the lake. Room was enough space for two. Nikola is very helpfull.

The place is owned by Dad and son who are amazing people. When I arrived at the bus station from Tirana it was gloomy and cold. As I turned on my phone there was a message from Nicola (son) that it's cold outside, so let me know where you are when you get here and I will come and pick you up. So he did!! What generosity (especially when I had declined the paid pick-up service initially. Very prompt in answering any question and being super available through text message. The place is in the old town and great location all around. Love from Canada!

The biggest problem was that the neighbouring street was noisy, even in the night, but the solution to this problem was easy: earplugs and then it was fine. But overall, it is better to be in noisy street, where you feel safe, than to be in quiet street were walking in night is a nightmare (and trust me, most of Ohrid streets are terrifying in night). Then there was a problem with locking of the door, but we call to the owner and he immediately repear it. The wifi was not working properly, but that wasnt such a big problem for us. Overall, it was a nice stay, nice quality for little money. Definetely would book this again.

I would definitely recommend this accomodation. Before arrival, they told us everything that was essential and they answered all questions and they also arranged a taxi for us, from airport to the center. The room was small with a nice big bathroom, but for us it was enough, since we had spent all day exploring the city. The location is amazing, it is in a walkable distance from every interesting thing in the town. And also I felt safe in this part of city. And I have to mention the communication, this was amazing, they answered all questions, gave tips and contacts.
