It would be good if Terelj hotel could improve the choice of their restaurant menu and taste of Mongolian food. For example, customers would be happy if you add some options of shared food.

The hotel facilities and services were very good. Also, it was truly enjoyable to see decorations for Halloween. Our kids had an unforgettable enjoy-full experience. The buffet breakfast was also excellent with lots of choices.

For such cost the choice of components of the breakfast should be not limited)) Jacuzzi was broken in our room(( For such great river-side location, the hotel must to have real kind of beach, with access to river shore... And I did not find hair-dryer in the shower in swimming pool

The staff went out of its way to meet my requests and needs; most notably the front desk lady who arranged for my one day wonderful trip through the park and the Monholian steppe, and the restaurant chef, Arun, who prepared for my excellent vegetarian dishes. Thank you all

The faucet in the jacuzzi in our room was broken, men's sauna and shower doesn't have hair dryer (or it was hard to find it). The hotel located on the nice river shore, but the exit to the water is closed by fences.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, especially on the reception. Great interiors! Great atmosphere. Nice swimming pool and sauna. Good restaurants and breakfast.

Unique experience staying in this 5 star hotel. It's in a lovely part of the national park, so serene and atmospheric. It's a former soviet -era hotel for Mongolia's top leadership, now owned by a Mongolian female entrepreneur and filled with Mongolian treasures. IT's like stepping back in time to the way travel used to be. Staff goes above and beyond. Exec.Chef Marvin introduced himself to us and Chef Arun appointed himself our private chef for our two week stay. Every day he would ask us what we wanted and would create new dishes for us. Manager Sanjeev was also incredible, checking in with us daily to make sure everything was ok. He even arranged a viewing of the owner's private museum. It's a visit we will not forget.

Amazing experience staying at this hotel, it's a unique piece of Mongolia's history. The art alone is worth the stay. Rooms are luxurious and spotless, facilities and views are stunning. What really sets this hotel apart is the staff. Chef Arun made us delicious meals every night, catering to us personally, including whatever we wanted for breakfast. Manager Sanjeev checked in with us every day and mixed up perfect Negronis for us in the evening. We've never had this kind of outstanding service anywhere else. It's more than a hotel, it's like staying with family and friends. you'll never forget it.

Food was fantastic, spa treatments were Very good, pool and connected large hot tub were great! Best to go early or late to avoid the kids. Some local hiking was lovely and the hotel staff can help direct you where to go.

I liked everything. I can’t complain. I want to come back next time I visit Mongolia.

It’s hard to choose one thing. The rooms were very nice and spacious and the beds were comfortable. There are lots of amenities and activities. The reception organized a day of horseback riding for my fiancée and me.

Extra Tax for foreign people (not Mongolians) about 20%. That is too much and in general not okay. Also the entrance fee into the Gorki Terelj National Reservat only for foreign people (not Mongolians) is not fair.

Everything was nice, but given the price you’re paying, i expected a little more from the fitness side. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are tired. They need a proper clean. The lighting in the pool didn’t work, and the water was murky. The pool was clean, but you couldn’t really see properly (with goggles) so it was off putting. The jacuzzi was greenish. Again, clean, but it just looked bleached. The sauna in the male changing room wasn’t really hot at all. I feel bad knocking them on this, given we’ve just come out of covid, but it’s not like we were paying covid prices, so it’s valid. The sports complex needs to be updated really. I’d say this hotel is more about luxury and relaxing/enjoying the property for the weekend as opposed to taking scenic strolls around its grounds, so it was important for us. Couldn’t fault the food, but it wasn’t really clear which restaurant was working or not and the hotel is a bit of a maze, so make sure you ask in advance. Also the terrace out the back of the hotel could do with some tables and chairs to enjoy the lovely view over the river.

The staff were great. Batnyam at reception was extremely professional and set the tone for our whole stay. he’s an asset to any hotel! the rooms are lovely. We stayed in a deluxe room/suite and it was very comfortable and roomy. it had an old worldly theme to it but we like that. The River side restaurant was nice, tasty but the portions are huge so be warned! Don’t over order or they’ll be carrying you back to your room. The fitness area is good. A large pool, and a good gym with new techno gym machines. The property is situated in a nice part of the countryside with a nice view over the river and the hills. There’s not that much to see on the grounds of the property itself but you can walk up the road a few kilometres, and then head left and walk back along the river to the hotel which was a nice stroll.
