Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesNo hot water (cold shower only). Multiple electrical outages. Broken front door lever. Broken window shutters. Difficulty getting lock box code prior to and after arrival.
Perfect location near Marina du Marin. Charming host. Good WiFi, good air conditioning, good kitchen and TV/streaming, comfortable mattress, clean room. Near local markets and bakery. Flexible checkin/checkout.

FranceThis accommodation is a joke. In the description they say check in is from 12h. We have sent a message at 3 pm saying we arrived and that we wanted to do our check in. The person told us that unfortunately he was at work and we should wait until 5pm, to which we had no choice other than agreeing. At 6pm still nothing so I called the person and the person was claiming he was stuck in traffic. However, we were parked since 5.30 pm next to the house and noticed a person weirdly hurrying up with towels and bed sheets. At 6.30 pm the person called me to come as it was ready and surprise…it was the guy we saw from the car! So he was basically just lying to us the whole time and he wasn’t stuck in traffic but he was there and still needed to clean the room. We managed to get in, but…no clean bed sheets nor toilet paper! So the guy went searching for this and came back at 7.30 pm! of course we ended up having to put the bed sheets ourselves. Furthermore, the infrastructure itself is very old, windows are not at all isolated and the noise from the outside was so loud (people talking in the middle of the night, truck picking up trash at 4.50 am and the bakery clients down the street) that we didn’t manage to sleep the whole night. This is unacceptable!!
Literally nothing, it has been by far the worst accommodation I have experienced in my entire life.

United StatesI was coming off of a boat in the marina and needed a place to stay until my plane left the next day. This filled the bill perfectly. It was clean, quiet, with a comfortable bed and a truly luxurious shower. The manager, Thiebault, speaks decent English, and was very friendly and helpful, despite the fact that there were multiple changes of plans due to problems on the boat. Conveniently located across from a bakery and right around the corner from the covered market. I can't think of a better place to stay in Le Marin.

Very clean and nice apartment in a lively neibourhood.Nearby covered market, pharmacy, bakery. Free wifi and aircon.Posibility to make your own coffee.Good hideaway in Marin. Thibaud also kindly arranged my airport transfer Budget friendly apartment.Will be back. Very much recommended
