to much early morning building noise and the appartment was a bit dark and like a cave even though it was very well equiped and all that was needed was there

location good except for the constant building noise within the building startimng at 08:00 with drilling the walls around us. We didnt have a window which was expected but the facilities inside the appartment were good

The property had no natural light (which was not so apparent from the pictures) this is a personal thing for us and may not be a something that concerns other guests. The dog in the apartment next door was a bit of a nuisance when it barked suddenly (very loudly) on several occasions when we exited the property to go out. We accept that renovations are a part of living and holidaying in Malta, but the constant chipping away at "something" on Sunday in an adjacent property throughout most of the afternoon and early evening was a little annoying.

The accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we could possibly want and very clean. The location was fabulous for sightseeing. Netflix was available if we chose to stay home for an evening.

The apartment is comfortable, well appointed, spacious and very tastefully decorated. It is in a quiet street only a short walk to all Valletta's amazing attractions. The hosts are very responsive and helpful, with our check-in requirements.

The apartment doesn't have have any windows to let in any light. But there are windows next to the door for ventilation.

Jon was a fantastic host. The apartment was perfectly located in the city and so close the ferries and city centre and bus station...and only 15 minute drive from the airport. The apartment itself was complete will helpful information about the city along with all the facilities you could ever need for a short stay.

Everything was just perfect! We had a wonderful stay and we must say that the owner was esay to communicate with. The place is awesome, close to the center, clean and we had everything we needed. Even a selection of wines wich you enjoy. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bedroom is comfortable. When in Malta in the future, we hope to find this place still available! Thanks a lot, J!

These are just small things. I would have liked a bathmat, more towels and not brown! The apartment felt dark.

The renovated apartment is just a few steps from the center of Valletta and a small hidden beach without tourists. Jonathan is the most attentive owner I have met so far. Everything in the apartment is thought out to the smallest detail for your convenience. If only we could stay longer than 3 weeks!

My husband and I have just returned from an 8 week Europe trip covering 6 countries and 17 different accommodations and this is the only one we didn't like. In fact we left one night early and chose to pay for a lovely hotel so that we could enjoy our last night in Valletta. The first problem occurred when we entered the apartment and there was a cooking smell like someone was making pasta sauce. The smell was in the bedroom section so we could only assume it was coming from upstairs and through the vents. The kitchen seemed fine, although we didn't use it but the couch did not look clean and the cushions were not even pushed back in the correct position. There was alot of furniture and nick nacks in the apartment but we had to move them into cupboards so we could put our things on the bench tops. The second major issue was the bath/ shower. When I looked at the photos I thought the white glass door at the end of the unit was a shower room but in fact it was the laundry where they keep the washing machine and their cleaning equipment. The actual shower is over the top of a half bath with a curtain covering part of it. The shower is very difficult to use because part of the tiny bath has a molded seat in it so you can barely stand to shower at all. Also the towels that they supplied were dark brown, quite thin and one had a hole in it. The third and biggest issue we had was the bed. The mattress was very uncomfortable and seemed more like a fold out bed mattress that sloped into the middle on both sides. There were only 2 pillows and they were lumpy and thin so we asked if there were others we could use and found 2 more under the bed but they were hard as rocks. The sheets and pillow cases were dark grey and scratchy and there was a quilted cover on top of the bed that looked like it belonged in grandma's house. When I looked back at the photos of the apartment it shows the bed with white sheets, no quilt and rose petals.

The location was pretty good (10 minute walk to all the action) and there was a great restaurant called the Gunpost a 2 minute walk away with an amazing view over the harbour. The accommodation had a washing machine.
