Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaGreat location between Valetta and Silema. Everything you need nearby, groceries, bus stop, restaurants. Great view from apartment. Great to have laundry and kitchen and lift in case you have lots of luggage. Owner was easily contactable and responsive.

RomaniaIt was not an inconvenience to us, more like small details. The living room window with the beautiful sea view might have been cleaner. The street is populated and can get a bit noisy. We woke early in the morning so for us was not a problem.
We enjoyed the stay at Ana Haven. Public transportation right in front and very well connected not just to Valetta( which is the hub to any direction), convenience store and restaurants and cafes in walking distance. The apartment is big, modern, clean. The access was very easy based on the previous instructions of the owner, who was very kind and even called us at checkout to say goodbye and send polite wishes. Enjoyable strall on the promenade to Sliema. We have two small kids and was nice after dinner to have this option. Very clean towels and several beathroom products. I totally recommend the place.

HungaryPublic traffic at this part of the town could be better, several times we waited for buses that were too crowded to stop here - but this is a general problem in crowded parts of Valletta and the surrounding cities
A very well equipped flat (especially the kitchen if you want to prepare your own meal), helpful host, nice location at the Gzira harbor. True it is at the main road, but if the windows are closed (we were there in April, but there is also airconditioning, so I guess you can do it in the summer too), you can also sleep well in the living room that looks that way, so dont worry about the noise (the inner bedroom is especially quiet)

SpainThe pillows are not of great quality, it wasn't quite as clean as it could have been, and the sofa has a really low back, so watching TV whilst sitting was a little uncomfortable. There is no wardrobe, so that was fine for me on my own, but two people with luggage would be a little messy.
The view is great, and the location is too. It's also much quieter than you would expect given the traffic. The space is just the right size, and the kitchen is adequately equipped.

BulgariaIt is not host's fault but the apartment was not adequately cleaned at all. Anyway it was Christmas season and maybe this was the reason.
Perfect location. The bus stop to Valetta (and another towns in Malta) just 1 minute accross the street. Seaview. On the main street but not noisy! Everything you need. Super new and modern. Comfortable beds and sofa. Vast livingroom and bedroom. Bright and cosy! Very quick replies to our additional requests. Many shops, bars, cafes just next to the apartment. You may have a nice walk to Sliema along the seashore.
