We only had a small issue with the key that sometimes it was difficult for us to get it out of the room’s locker.

Check in information delivered earlier. Sent email but with limited functions on US based phones we missed some key details in regards to check in and code required for lock box. Not for anyone with limited mobility or stamina.

Excellent location to walk old quadrants of Velletta. Three rooms total, one on each floor. Rooms as pictured. Historic building so stairs to every room with ground floor small kitchenette for all guests. Fridge, coffee maker etc. Clean, modernized place to stay.

The night noises from the street can be difficult when trying to sleep. Had to close windows and turn the air conditioner fan on.

I liked the room's closed balcony, it was a big room with a comfortable firm bed.

should have cleaning products at least when the policy in Booking says : check in from 11 am , telling us to check in at 3.00pm is not acceptable!

Listed as a Bed and Breakfast but should be listed as an apartment or suite with a shared kitchen. Lock was a bit dodgy. No sound insulation so you can hear noise from other guests and outside at all hours through the day and night.

In Valletta buildings and the windows are old. In this property, there is no sound isolating outside and inside. Even late in the night or so early in the morning, you can hear so loud noises. I had issues to sleep. If you need peaceful time, book somewhere away from the center or a new building with soundproof.

The location is great. Check in experience was easy. Facilities are decent, they just need to make coffee capsules available more often. Decent location to catch taxi. Owner is super cool guy! Common area is great to catch up with work. Internet is decent! Perfect location for cafes and restaurants.

We stayed on level 1, and there was a bit of a street noise early in the morning (e.g. garbage trucks). It didn't bother us too much. But if you're a light sleeper you might want to request a room higher up.

The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. The location was excellent - right in the middle of Valetta, close to everything. The building and the room were full of character, very comfortable, great facilities. We would stay here again without hesitation.

The only thing that was missing was a fridge in the room.it had a kitchen and fridge in the common place downstairs but its very useful for a traveler to have his own fridge in room and it would be great If it's added until the other time I come to valletta!

What I liked more is that babel suites is really in a very convenient central location in valletta!!Furthermore I loved the double bed !!I had a very good and comfortable sleep there!moreover the room had enough space and the owner was ver friendly and ready to help u!

We would have appreciated a basic cleaning service once during our five nights stay. The owners kindly run to bring us some extra towels when we asked them though.

Everything was great, but at some point I missed having a mini-fridge in the room, despite the one from the ground floor common kitchen. Also, some trash bags can be added in the kitchen drawers (I looked for a couple at some point). Anyway, these are not deal breakers, just a few minor things which I bumped into during our stay, but even so, I would definitely book again or recommend.

Babel suites is a brand new accommodation with very spacious rooms and a big brand new tv with Netflix at a lovely street in Valetta. The owners and staff were super nice too!

The hotel is located in a unique and very central location, without steep streets, which is convenient for those who want to explore the city comfortably. The fact that it is a renovated former "palazzo" gives the hotel a cozy and authentic atmosphere. The authentic doors and windows, especially the locks, add a touch of authenticity and charm. The room is spacious, and the bed is comfortable, providing a restful sleep. Although the bathroom is not very large, it has a shower with good water pressure, which is a plus. Another positive aspect is that the hotel offers a discount at the two associated restaurants, where the service and food have exceeded expectations. Therefore, it is highly recommended to have a meal there. The pictures on the hotel's website correspond to reality, which means you will find exactly what you saw and expected. Additionally, the hotel provides a fully equipped kitchen with everything necessary, allowing you to prepare your own meals. In this regard, it is suggested to stock up from the supermarket located just 2 minutes away, especially with Dolce capsules if you want to have coffee at the hotel. On the first floor, there is a living room/library equipped with a sofa, armchairs, a large television, and gaming facilities.
