Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe only complaint we have is nothing to do with the hotel. The public beach bar at the end of the marina had loud music playing all day from 4 speakers until they closed. When we stay next time we will ensure our room is further away from the beach.
The quality and service at the Marina Corinthian is wonderful. The room was so clean and we were given a bottle of Prosecco and a chocolate gateau to celebrate our birthdays. The free minibar was always kept full. The view out to sea from our balcony was lovely. The breakfast buffet was so good with a big selection of cooked and continental choice.

MaltaDrinks were too expensive, €5.50 for a sprite, thought this was a little in the heavy side. Our room needed an update but views and extras such as robes and slippers were great.
The staff are amazing, really. Every single staff member I passed or spoke to were genuinely polite and helpful and were doing a really fantastic job. This was definitely a highlight for me and made our stay feel special. The range of facilities is really great. We were 1 adult and 2 children. We enjoyed the spa which I didn’t expect to be able to do with my girls so we were very happy, and so many pools and chill areas to choose from. We loved it.

CanadaI couldn’t really think of anything we didn’t like about the property … although it’s really quite decadent, it’s still so comfortable and inviting !!
The property itself is BEAUTIFUL!!! The people were fabulous !! All the amenities were there. Upscale Restaurant, Pasta Restaurant, Light-fare Cafe, Inviting Pub for Pub-fare and the best resort Buffet Breakfast you could ask for, set in a bright inviting breakfast room or out on the deck overlooking St George’s Bay. There was a Spa, Pools (indoor and out,) beautiful deck chairs surrounding their outdoor leisure areas and the pools …. And every morning we could see the sun come up over the bay. With a bus stop right outside the building. City buses and Hop on Hop off buses stopped there … which made the whole island accessible if you weren’t driving and if you were driving …they had secure underground parking

SlovakiaUnfortunately the other side of the hotel faces to new construction which is huge. And it is noisy from 8am. I had 60 m2 suite with view to both sides but the room was a bit disappointing. The position and room layout was not good. We should have had sea view. We did have, but the balcony was somehow shorter and we could have seen mainly walls of other balcony and roof of room under us. This suite was not worth of it. Also furniture is a bit outdated.
Free parking for guests depending on type of room. I had Suite, so no extra costs. I liked the position of the hotel - close to all rush streets of San Giljan, but still quiet during the night if you have sea view. The hotel facilities are great for vacation - more restaurants options, hotel amenities. The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. WiFi is stable, working perfectly. We had possibility to use also pools of other hotel with bigger pools. Breakfast was okay. We needed gluten-free food and they are very helpful in this. Thank you!

HungaryEverything was great, if we found any inconvenience it was immediately solved by the wonderful staff. I would like to mention Ioana and Khalil who did the extra mile to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The sea view is exceptional and location is really great as well. Many options for restaurants and cafés in Marina and the neighboring corinthia hotels too. The possibility to enjoy our breakfast directly by the sea at the breakfast buffet is magical.

United KingdomThe cleanliness can be improved. Robs in the hotel not only had stains but also insects, this is not acceptable for hotels of any star category. Inspect robs before you put it on! The hotel is crying for renovation, it is outdated. On lover floors mould smell in rooms could be quite overpowering. Ask for a room on 4th floor or above.
Customer service is at very high level, the team is very dedicated, professional and friendly. The location is excellent and rooms have great view of St. George’s bay.

Czech RepublicBreakfast was very nice - a lot of choice, everything fresh and delicious! Bed, mattress and pillows are very comfy! View from the room is stunning ! Personal is great! Especially a hotel manager who really did his the best to find a solution for our special request. I think it's a best client-oriented receptionists and managers who I ever met on my huge experience of traveling. A lot of restaurants and cafes in the hotel, so we had plenty of choice every evening :)
