Noise at night from the road which is a short distance behind the house. The room equipment is older. The location is not great, the house is on the upper side of the town away from the sea. In addition, the bay serves as a freight port, so although the sea is clean and the beach is nice, the view of the freight port does not tempt to swim.

Considering the price, I can't complain about anything. The landlady was very friendly, the breakfast was good.

Really kind and friendly hosts! Every time I left my room was cleaned up. Breakfast was between 8-9 AM, so you need to wake up and then you have whole day to visit this beautiful island!:) Shops are very close (by walk it took something about 5-10min).

No power for the shower, room was warm with air condition but cold in the rest of the property.

Bed/matress could've been more comfy plus the pillow was quite flat. Could be improved, I think. Finally, the water pressure is quite low (as far as I understand this is usual for many local places of living), but just an inconvenience in my book.

The owners/administrators were very amicable and pleasant. The location is great, only 30-40min bus ride to Valetta. Nice local area in and around the building and nearby.

Spotted some ants and mosquitos in my room. The access to the rooftop was via my room, so hosts had to cross through. No cold water for breakfast or throughout my stay. I had to buy my own and cool it in the fridge.

The helpful and smiling hosts; the proximity to a couple of historical sites; the spacious bathroom; the view to the grandiose Freeport from the nearby street.

The water pressure is really low, it was impossible for me to wash my hair.

The location is good, there is a nice beach nearby and you can easily reach Valletta. The lady and her husband are the nicest people ever and are so helpful if you need any guidance. The only downside is that the room we were in had really lousy beds but I wouldn’t say it’s such a big deal and we had beautiful balcony. Lastly, our room didn’t have Wi-fi, bit I do think the other two have.

Great location on a quite street, steps from the harbour, near restaurants and bus stops. Good accommodation for a 1 night stay close to the airport.

Great value for money, for anyone looking for a budget stay in Malta close to the airport. Very very friendly owners, they look after their guests. The location is in a quiet area close to bus stop. The room and shared bathroom was tidy and clean.

it was very hot at night and with just a fan it would turn off every 2 hours so then would become hot.

The only unpleasant thing was that the water stream in the shower was very weak.

The owners were really kind - thank you for letting us come late at night after a terribly delayed flight and letting us sleep much longer in spite of the check out afterwards :) Breakfast was modest, but sufficient (toasts, jam, yoghurt, coffee, juice, water). The room and shared bathroom were clean. Overall, it was great - concerning the price, we would definitely recommend it.

very clean really close to the airport the hosts were accommodating of my flight delay and helped me settle in when it was 1am they also accommodated me with non dairy milk and breakfast was thoughtful It’s in a quiet residential street with barely any noise a really friendly older couple host as well great for one night stay when you’ve got to get to the airport

My husband had fleece sheets, arguably cotton or linen would have been more comfortable. Its quirky and lovely really.

This was perfect for an overnight stop in preparation for an early flight out. Located near to airport. The hosts are wonderful. very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Its a fair price for an honest bed for the night. Facilities at the harbour within an easy walk. Plenty of restaurants. Five star it isn't but the service from the hosts was 5 star. She even offered to get up to do a breakfast for us at 0400hrs.

Essential but nice and comfortable place, run by kind owners. Room and bathroom were very clean (and regularly cleaned). Breakfast was good (yogurt, cereals, bread, cheese, jam, coffee and tea). The house is close to bus stops.
