My 6 ft husband found the shower a bit small & restrictive for his size, but not really a problem for a short stay (or a short person!)

Friendly & homely B&B with all you need for a really comfortable stay. Lots of extras have been thought of & the charming hosts will also cook you a delicious vegetarian meal with many local specialities. Nothing was too much trouble & we had a great time! Unfortunately the weather wasn’t as warm as we’d hoped, so no chance to sit outside too much or use the pool…..we’ll just have to return another time!

The owners were super friendly and their pets too. Throughout the stay, I had an exceptional breakfast and taking it by the pool made it more memorable. The accommodation is just few minutes away by walk to the square where one can find various restaurants and attractions too. For sure this will not be my last visit at this accommodation and highly recommend it.

Exceptional place to stay. Clean ,bright , modern room with use of a beautiful balcony. Wonderful kind and interesting hosts who gave us a very warm welcome. The breakfast was superb with freshly made foods, plenty of choice and so much to provide a good start to the day. Would definitely return

The bed was very hard

Wonderful location on Gozo and easy walk to the sights in Xaghra. The breakfast was magnificent. This is a place that really does a filling home made breakfast. Excellent eggs, fresh made cinnamon rolls, great coffee. The hosts were so very kind and helpful. The pool would have been inviting if the weather were warmer.

Honestly, there isn't anything I can think of.

This is our second stay in Encanto, as before we really enjoyed the house, the space and quietness of it all. Check in is really easy. One cannot not mention the food experience we had....almost everything is homemade. The hosts are friendly, welcoming and happy to help in any way possible.

Em, not much… Toffee didn’t wouldn’t pose for a photo.

The character of the property hit me immediately from Toffee greeting me on arrival to the plants throughout the property and down to just the way the windows were dressed. There is a lovely relaxed feeling to Encanto that I just loved. Jessica and Roseanne were both so welcoming and as I was the only guest for my stay I was given them bigger room for no extra cost. I availed of the 4 course dinner and it was beautiful from the nibbles plate on. And a lovely bottle of Maltese white wine to accompany it. Oh and the breakfast? The best breakfast of my weeks holiday on Gozo and Malta. Quite possibly my favourite meal of the trip!

Just a warning to future visitors that cell service is difficult in an older building, but standing outside by the pool helps, and of course there is wifi.

Breakfast was fabulous, such a wonderful spread of fresh food each morning plus a customized option and fresh coffee. A lovely breakfast by the pool. The pool itself was quiet and private. My room had A/C which was awesome. Very spacious room with beautiful tall ceilings. My host was absolutely lovely and helpful!

Everything was fabulous! The place is so tastefully and thoughtfully decked out. The hosts are so lovely, but also generous with their time, local intel and insight for making the most of your trip tailored to the guest. This is true hospitality in a top location - easy to get to, pretty walks to the sandy beach of Ramla as well as historical sites, and an easy location to explore the rest of Gozo from whether by bus or car. Gozo is quite quiet. The ease of ordering taxis and buses made up for this and Gozo is also very beautiful.

The welcome was so friendly and both Roseanne and Jessica went out of their way with little touches and helpful information too.

As seasoned travellers, we’ve had our share of the good and bad when it comes to B&B. Encanto, however, is in a league of its own. Roseanne and Jessica went way further than you could expect in order to help with some travel problems and much else. Encanto is the warmest, most welcoming place you could wish to stay. The room was a gem. The house is brilliantly set up and special word has to be made of the creative and generous breakfast. In addition, you shouldn’t miss their dinner by arrangement. They’re wonderfully conceived and entirely home cooked, outclassing any vegetarian restaurant. An outrageously flirtatious dog and a charming cat completed a wonderful stay.

Roseanne, Jessica, Toffee, Pepper and Pumpkin were the perfect hosts. The B&B is very homely and relaxing, and the breakfast was exceptional. We loved trying all the home cooked delights, and it was such a treat to try vegan versions of Maltese specialities. Both Roseanne and Jessica were incredibly helpful, sharing local knowledge and history. The B&B is in a great location and we managed to get around Gozo by bus really easily, with bus stops within a few metres of the front door! Highly recommend a stay here :)

We stayed there for 6 nights and would have even longer. Here's why: - perfect hosts: Jessica and Roseanne were the best hosts you could imagine. They responded within minutes by WhatsApp. They hat nice knowledge about the area/ things to do and assisted with everything you asked for - perfect room: the room was really well decorated/equipped, included some welcome drinks/snacks and included a balcony. The bed was very comfy even after 5 nights. - perfect house: the house is also nicely decorated and includes a nice place outside with pool and sun loungers - perfect location: Xaghra is really nicely placed within the heart of Gozo. You can visit everything by bus or use a bolt. In addition to that it has a nice central square with bars/restaurants and supermarkets. No other place looked that cozy - perfect food: every day you can decide between different hot dishes for breakfast. Furthermore they serve different treats everyday in addition to the regular selection - perfect service: they even offer you different activities at the B&B. We for example tried the 4 course dinner and it was absolutely magnificent. Would recommend it to everyone - perfect pets: just cute. Just meet them :)

There's a lovely atmosphere at this B&B, created by the hosts and their furry family! We had a home cooked breakfast in the outdoor courtyard after a serene night, which made this experience memorable.
