Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NorwayThese comments are only intended as advice for possible improvements: More glasses and cups in the kitchen. A bigger clothes drying rack. More towels per person.
Super central located, spacious and well equipped apartment. Only 5 minutes walk to the sea and public transport. Several grocery stores in the street. Both bedrooms had comfortable double beds, air conditioning and their own balconies. The kitchen was well equipped with most of what you need + a washing machine with drying function. Prior to our stay, we received good information from the homeowner regarding how to get into the apartment. He was very service oriented and helpful, and responded very quickly to questions we had during our stay.

SingaporeThe elevator in the building broke - so we needed to use the stairs with heavy bags.
We had a great stay in the apartment. It is an easy (15min) cab ride from the airport, access to the keys is in a lockbox, so very easy. The owner was gracious enough to allow us to check in a little early when we landed as soon as cleaning was done and then was very easily contactable during our stay for anything (super host). There is a bus stop nearby that allowed us to easily travel around the island, enough convenience stores and restaurants to keep us fed and good coffee across the road at 'loaf' to keep us happy. A great stay all in all.

SlovakiaI would go back so my negative comments are to make this place even better. The main door off the street isn't for people bigger than average. Or for older people who haven't got the strength to handle their luggage. The shower door as well which opens inwards is not for larger people. In good faith I would like the owner to have a shower there and go in and out. Touch up paint needed more often and the general bin lid needs attention. Also the fridge. It smells pretty bad. Duvets need covers. Again these things are easily fixable and I would stay again.
Excellent location, safe and close to centre. spacious appartment with 2 double beds. Loaf coffee shop across the road for excellent coffee in the morning.
