Perfect location. Great view from balcony. We could enjoy the beauty of whole Valetta. Lots of restuarants and shops were neat by. Gozo and comino boat tours were available just near the hotel. Receptionists were very helpful.

The hotel has a nice, central location. Walking to the main bus stop and ferry terminal to Valetta only a 10 minute walk. Good choice of eateries in the area.

We really liked the location of this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and offered great info on things to see in Malta. The room was clean, well presented and comfortable with an excellent view of Valletta. Breakfast offered variety of choice. Access to ferries was great. Overall a great choice of hotel. If you need parking, it's not too hard to find street parking on the road out front.

Sliema is not the nicest area of Malta, it is quite busy with a lot of heavily tourist-orientated but low quality restaurants and shops. For the hotel itself, the shower - whilst great overall as a walk-in - saw water spilling into the bathroom as the water splashed off of you. This meant that you had to take care not to slip after drying yourself on the excess water that had splashed into the area beyond the shower recess.

Hotel Verdi is a sleek and modern hotel in Sliema that ticks all of the boxes for a comfortable, straightforward and clean stay in the area. The bed was comfortable and the room itself was spacious with plenty of room for storage and a balcony. The big bathroom came complete with walk-in shower, bidet and complementary products. The pool area was okay for a roof-top area, although the pool could do with a bit of maintenance as the pool lining had deteriorated. Staff were helpful and kind and breakfast was great with a decent amount of choice between cooked/continental.

Only downside was the very busy dual carriageway between hotel and promenade. Might not have booked if id known how busy it was. Its really a problem with the resort and not the hotel which was fab.

There was a musty smell in the bathroom. We reported it twice and the staff were responsive but whatever was done didn’t alleviate the smell. The toilet was too low - like being at primary school. Lack of hooks to hang bath towels etc.

Fabulous location. We booked a seaview room and the view was breathtaking.

Foyer was too hot we needed to wait for a while for taxi home. Pillows are uncomfortable. Balcony isn’t really worth it as it’s in the middle of the building and no real sun can reach it. It all was clean but could have been cleaner. The shower needs more pressure. And the bathroom is huge but no surfaces to put anything. Towels in bathroom are tiny but you do get a standard size robe. The pool area could do with a few chairs as well as the loungers. Breakfast was amazing if you have no problems but we asked at reception about gluten free and were told yes we have it; I asked the chef for gluten free he did bring out toast but didn’t explain what else I could eat and everything was a contamination risk.

Location is perfect, Room is really big, bed is a good size, shower is huge, staff were amazing. Pool is a great feature. Good breakfast. Good aircon.

during morning peak hours is hard to enter the breakfast zone - you have to wait in a queue and be called by the staff (in our case it was ca. 30 min); not diversified breakfast options what can be some problem in case of longer stay; the room isn't soundproof

The pool area was somewhat of a disappointment, but we weren't there for the pool, so it didn't bother us much. The view from up there is spectacular though.

The location is perfect, as is the view from the room, spanning across the bay. We really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable bed, tasty breakfast and friendly staff.
