The apartment is absolutely HUGE and was clean! The location is perfect, 3 min away from the bay by on feet. We loved to be here. But the best ‘part’ was Joseph the owner who’s hospitality was unmatched. He gave us advices which restaurant should we try , which bay is the best around there , and answered our every question asap. Highly recommended, and for this price almost sure this is one of the best opportunity to stay at Marsalforn. Thank to Joseph !

There was some building works going on in front of the apartment, so there wasn't a great view, but we knew that and we were happy to make the short walk down to the seafront and enjoy the view from there

The apartment was lovely, very clean and had everything we needed to cook for ourselves, if we wanted to. Having en-suite bathrooms for the bedrooms was great The location was central with restaurants, bars and shops a short walk away

Parties of 5 or more might find the seating area slightly small. We’d possibly suggest adding a second sofa to the apartment, but we’re being picky!

Island Break is perfectly located to fully enjoy Marsalforn and the surrounding area. Joseph provided an amazing welcome food basket to get us started in Gozo and took time to recommend restaurants and places of interest. The apartment was really well furnished, and having a washing machine was incredibly helpful for our 9-day stay. It was also great to have balconies at both sides of the apartment.

Huge apartment. Very spacious. Everything we needed from Iron , hairdryer , washing machine etc even gave us a food hamper on arrival for free which consisted of everything bread butter milk meat . Outstanding . Best hosts ever and I’ve stayed in a lot of apartments abroad. Will definitely be back again

Absolutely nothing to complain about

We arrived before our checking in time but we were able to leave our luggage downstairs with the owners Mother who gave us a very nice welcome and offered drinks. We were really pleasantly surprised when we checked in that there was not only tea, coffee, sugar and fresh milk but also bread, cheese, eggs, ham, snacks and biscuits, the apartment was spacious and pleasant and only a 4 minute walk from the bay, we would definitely stay again

Very spacious, clean and well-equipped apartment. The owner ensures that nothing is missing and if you need any help he is open to help you. A short walk to local markets. Close to a small, but not crowded beach. A few nice restaurants to spend time and have dinner.

We had a wonderful stay. Comfortable and spatial apartment, very clean. Towels and seets changed during a week. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. very good communication with the owner, who provided provisions for our first breakfast.

The only thing we didn't like were the construction works everywhere in Marsalforn, which were very noisy and which will probably change this lovely town.

Breakfast wasn't included, but the owner welcomed us with complimentary snacks, water, toast, milk, ham, wine... He was there for all our questions, with great advice.

-construction site just beneath the main balcony / kitchen area. However, we spent the days out of the apartment, so it did not really affected us much. On Sunday, there were no works going on.

Temperature in one of the bathrooms was a little bit low. Very big apartment, wifi not reaching every bedroom.

Very cozy and spacious apartment. It was very clean. 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Beds were comfortable. Very close to the sea, bus station and stores. The owner explained everything on check in and was helpful.

the flat was a bit outdated, and mixed with modern and old decor. not the one in the pictures. it was windy, and the front and back balcony doors weren't sealed properly, the noise from the wind trough the doors was annoying.. also there is a huge quarry in front of the building.. you can see and hear construction .. but we weren't in the flat for most of our time so it was not that much of an issue for us..

The owner was very nice and welcoming and he lived in the same block so it was very easy to check in and out.. also we didn't have gas in the stove and he came immediately to change it even though it was super late at night! 3 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. No problem for parking as the street is a dead end.. the location is perfect for walks and easy access to local restaurants and groceries. Great view of the salvatur hill..
