Amazing location, and very cozy hotel. Absolutely loved the quiet, peaceful vibes on mdina although it is a tiny city, its the perfect place to rest your head at night and go for small walks. My FAVORITE thing about this lovely hotel was the lovely staff, all of them, especially Ana Mae at reception that greeted us with a warm smile, gave us tips and recommendations on where to go and what to do and went above and beyond her job and did extensive research for us when we told her we couldnt book the tour we wanted. Thank you Ana Mae and the rest of the staff!

This was an exceptional hotel with the friendliest staff. The hotel was beautiful, especially the bifora windows. The small but impactful gestures were appreciated like the chocolates left in our room each day. The staff always greeted us with a smile. The food was just as good as everything else. The experience of staying here felt bespoke and was very peaceful given its location in the silent city of Mdina. Highly recommended.

Nothing to complain about....

The breakfast was wonderful. They inquired about every need and attended to each thing. Excellent. The room is lovely, the service excellent and the food equally delicious. I simply cannot say enough nice things about the staff....Omar, Ana Mae and Ivan....all attentive and lovely. The housekeeper was also a delight. In case you cannot tell it was a great experience!

That we booked only one night.

This is a real gem. It's a small boutique Hotel in the old capital of Malta. It's a unique place. The service is really out of this world. They addressed all the things you can imagine to give you the ultimate experience. From the first contact till we left everything was spot on and marvelous. We had dinner in the restaurant which was outstanding. We will definitely come back. I highly recommend this hotel.

The shower in the bathroom didn't drain well so the bathroom floor became wet but this was a minor niggle and I'm sure easily fixed.

We loved the Palazzo. They took extra special care of us and we would absolutely stay there again. Ivan was marvellous - helpful, solicitous and a genuinely lovely chap with incomparable recommendations and knowledge of Malta. We met Omar and his wife - the owners - and their passion for the hotel was palpable. The facilities are spot on - the suite was perfect, little additions like chocolates and macarons and a notable display for my birthday celebrations, well received, and the location perfect. Anyone wanting to spend a few nights in Mdina/Rabat would benefit hugely from a stay in the Palazzo.

The only negative was that the Roof top restaurant was closed on the two evenings we had chosen to stay , Sunday and Monday.There are a few restaurants open in Mdina on those nights all year round so we found somewhere else for dinner on Monday evening.

We liked the lovely warm friendly welcome from Ana! The hotel was superb, all the furnishings and fittings were of a very high standard! All the staff were excellent but Ana went out of her way to make us welcome and even set up supper for us upstairs because the restaurant was closed on Sunday and Monday evenings!

I hated that my stay was only for 1 night - would love to stay more.

Luxury all around, amazing service, amazing food, amazing people. Spacious rooms, coffee machine inside, nice treats for the welcome. Amazing cosmetics in the bathroom. An amazing experience to have.

Beautiful palazzo in the silent city of Mdina. An ideal place for relaxation. Altough in winter we had a dip in the outside pool which was heated. Outstading service!

Nothing, other than that this is the first hotel we have ever stayed at where we were charged because we had mislaid the key card (which we had packed by mistake). A real shame because it left a slightly sour taste to what was otherwise an enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Lovely boutique hotel in heart of Mdina old town. Many lovely bars and restaurants within a short walk. Spacious and very comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff. Great food - breakfast and dinner both excellent. Would certainly stay here again.

Palazzo Bifora was a beautiful surprise upon arrival. We were made to feel so welcome. Greeted with ice cold Kinnies and given a tour of the hotel once we arrived. The staff were all so lovely and accommodating. The rooms are heaven. The rooftop restaurant and rooftop pool were something to behold. Wonderful atmosphere. If you are visiting Mdina, you must stay here. You won't regret it.

Delightfully curated small boutique hotel in the stunning walled city of Mdina. Excellent in-house restaurant with roof terrace, in addition to other good dining options nearby in Mdina. All staff were friendly and attentive.

Gorgeous former home with 6 large rooms, excellent breakfast, family run but 5 star! The staff was amazing! I urge you to stay here!!! Such a lovely experience in the center of Mdina.

Absolutely nothing not to like! From Mathias meeting us at the Roman Gates, through the check-in tour of the stunning hotel/ rooftop pool and our entire stay, if there is anything that is perfect, Palazzo Bifora is it!!

Palazzo Bifora is heavenly. It is gorgeous, elegant, serene, and surpassed all expectations. The attention to detail in design to the superbly attentive staff, this hotel will not disappoint. The room was exquisite and the stay was made better by a young man, Mathias, who went way above the call of duty. On his own time and own initiative, he gave us a walking tour of the area providing a verbal history along the way. He recommended beautiful spots to see and restaurants to enjoy. He knew what we needed before we did! It was a treat to meet Omar, the owner, and learn about the heart-filled 12 year restoration project of this family legacy jewel. Palazzo Bifora is a forever fond memory and a oasis in Mdina where we will stay again and again.

Beautiful building in the heart of Mdina. Evenings are truly magical and the staff is extraordinarily helpful and friendly. Rooftop terrace was beautiful for a drink or breakfast.
