The breakfast was ok, they don’t offer hot food but at least they had a good variety of bread, cold cuts, and fruit along with yogurt and spreads.

The location for Valetta is really good, the staff was really friendly and accommodating. The room had good facilities and a beautiful view. Some areas in the center of the city are noisy but the hotel is in a great location with no noise and really easily accessible by car and foot.

The reception is not open continuously 24h, although the hotel is advertised as having 24h reception service. It is not a problem to enter the hotel after 22.30, but we should have been informed beforehand. We stayed in the hotel in the end of May when the weather was really hot, but the rooftop bar was still closed.

We had a very nice, spacious room with balcony. The breakfast was tasty and adequate. All the personnel was very kind and helpful.

That we had to go back to Berlin

It was a perfect holiday in the perfect hotel in a fabulous city ! The hotel is beautiful, the room comfortable wit a fabulous view ! The staff super friendly and competent! I super recommend Palazzo Ignazio for a fabulous holiday in Malta

This hotel is in a great location, quiet but a couple of minutes from restaurants, bars and all the must sees in Valletta. The rooms are large with big comfortable beds and all of the amenities you could want. POD coffee machine, kettle, and a great shower. The rooms are well sound proofed which gives you a good night’s sleep,with both the rooms and the whole hotel being very clean. you get a good breakfast with excellent coffee also as a bonus the hotel has a very comfortable roof terrace with views over the Grand Harbour. The staff were attentive and quick to help with any problems you had. I would recommend the hotel to anyone who appreciates good service.

The hotel is centrally located near to everything interesting in Valletta. The room (junior suite) was great (spacious, clean, well furnished and with courtesy tea/coffee/water). The staff is super friendly and helpful. Great spot where to stay

Great location, close to all the sights but very peaceful. Also the roof terrace was a lovely place to relax and enjoy superb views over the harbour. Great buffet breakfast, very fresh and healthy too!

The Hotel Palazzo Ignazio is ideally situated in the heart of Valletta. The hotel is superbly decorated and the staff are superb going above and beyond, particularly Elizabeth and Regina.

The front door is locked at 10.30pm and then you ring a number to be let in which is a bit of a faff. It would be better if the desk was manned until midnight.

Great location. Beautiful bedroom in a lovely building which has been sympathetically restored. Friendly staff and good buffet breakfast. Beautiful views from the roof terrace.

The hotel is located on a busy road with traffic engines, car horns, pigeons, and people noises throughout the night and early morning, leading to poor quality sleep. Although it was nice to have a traditional closed Valletta balcony with privacy, there was no sound insulation, and room 202 on the second floor was not high enough to get away from the noise.

Lovely team of helpful people trying their best. Location affords easy access to the rest of Valletta. Fabulous view from the roof.
