The smoke alarm in the room is located close to bed and its light during the night was distrurbing my sleep.

The hotel is really well located on St. Paul's street which is almost in center of Valletta, close to main attractions. The street itself is a bit bussy, but it is not that bad during the night. The place has a lovely terrace where you can bring your breakfast.

The location was excellent. Breakfast was super and especially the staff and the service. Just about the best I have had and I have stayed at the Grand Excelsior for one week and the Phoenicia for two weeks previously.

Breakfast was lovely but the breakfast room is a little small. However, you could have breakfast in your room.

Our room was lovely and had a great view and the staff were so friendly and helpful. They invited us to drinks and nibbles on the roof, there was a bottle of wine in our room, they brought us little cookies. If we returned to Valletta we would definitely stay there.

Location was excellent, so close to all the main attractions in Valletta. Staff were friendly and welcoming and could not do enough to help. Our room had a small balcony looking onto the street but you could also sit on the roof terrace which was a sun trap. Breakfast was excellent, lovely croissants, pastries, cereal, cold meats, cheeses - a whole range to choose from. They left a bottle of still water in the room every day and there was a bottle of wine left for our arrival. They arranged a free bus trip for the guests which took us to a few locations on the island. We could not fault the room or service and would definitely return. They arranged our taxis to and from the airport and this service was also excellent, the drivers were both welcoming and knowledgeable about the island. Also liked the fact that the room had a key pad so we did not have to bother carrying a key with us. The exterior door had a keypad too so aviation no key required. We loved our visit.

Only one thing the hot tub on the roof was cold we might have used it if it was warmer.

The staff were so friendly. Rooms had everything that was needed and so clean. Little gifts left every day in your room lovey touch. Beautiful roof top you could also have breakfast up there.

Breakfast room is a little small for the number of guests in the hotel so we had to wait to be seated. It's also not a cooked breakfast - simply what's left on the benches when you are ready to eat. It was OK but would prefer more. Please, please don't put glass doors separating bedroom and bathroom!!! NOT anywhere anyone would like I'm sure!

the hot tub continued to heat for only a little while and would quickly turn off and become cold again. I purchased the room specifically for the hot tub and view; so was disappointed. The staff tried to offer a spa treatment instead but we didn’t have time-I think the cost of the room should have been reduced

This was a great place to stay, from the location to the staff! The check-in was seamless, the facilities are amazing with great amenities, amazing location and you can get anywhere in central Valetta within minutes walk, the breakfast was also really good and the staff were exceptional!! We went over a weekend and they ran free tours, simply amazing

The hotel was extraordinarily the same for the suite. Nice personnel, good and plenty of food and sweets, the free bottle of wine and water was just a plus. All good and quiet places for a short vacation.

The only issue was shower was not working fully (I think they were aware as this is also noted on other reviews) and the kitchen sink had a block on the last day. I would stay again 10/10

Shower wasn’t much good and rain shower head didn’t work. Dead batteries in the tv remote and breakfast area is pretty cramped, but nice little continental selection.
