Out of their control was the construction on adjacent building. It seemed the worst was complete and moved on by the end of the week. If you want a room with a view of the Grand Harbor ask for Room 5. Although we had plenty of balcony space we didn’t have the view expected. The upside was the rooftop which could be a nice social time with other guests or a quiet time in your own.

Central location, comfort of an apartment well kitted out, very clean, rooftop view was stunning and comfortable, airport transportation from and to the airport seamless, availability of host for recommendations or resolutions was prompt. We felt well taken care of. We had a great time and thought we got our monies worth. We lacked for nothing. Would recommend without hesitation.

Alfredo was the most fabulous host. He was so helpful with his communication, arranging airport pick up for us and clear instructions for self check in. The terrace was amazing. What a view!! And the room was very comfortable. The complimentary coffee from the cafe next store was a special touch. Loved our stay.

The only negative issue is opposite the apartments there are large building works going on. Not too intrusive except early morning from 7 am when you can hear the noise of workmen drilling etc.. This may only affect some apartments and not all.

Perfect location for all the sights of Valletta. Alfredo the owner was superb and ensured we had a fabulous time by giving us advice on attractions and where to eat etc. The apartment is very clean with everything you need . However there is only a microwave for cooking no hob so be prepared for that if you want to eat in. Finally a superb roof top terrace with sea view and a good layout.You can sit up here and relax with a glass of something chilled and watch the world go by.

The suites are tucked away in the perfect location in the city in walking distance to many restaurants, bars and top locations/landmarks. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated with a lot of character. The roof top terrace is a perfect way to chill out with a drink, we enjoyed watching the ships/boats from here, it has a fantastic view! Top communication and 5 star service from Alfredo. Thankyou!

Sally Port was truly exceptional. I had room 6, on 3rd floor with lift.It was spacious, comfortable with sunny balcony and lovely modern bathroom.On 4th floor there is a stunning terrace with panoramic views of the harbour and right next door is The Bagel Hole for great coffee.Perfect location for all major sites, but quiet at night...and fast wifi!

The two large chairs were ‘tired’; a couple of rubber mats in the bathroom would have been useful - the floor was slippery after using the excellent shower.

The wet room style of the bathroom did mean the floor got very wet in the bathroom. As the weather was not very hot towels didn’t really dry. Though fresh towels can be requested when weather is cooler it would be good to have them changed daily.

Everything was good. If I had to say one thing it would be we prefer a harder mattress but that is a personal preference.

We had a great few days at Sally Port Suites. The location is perfect, close to the bus station (easy for airport) and close to the heart of Valletta. Alfredo, welcomed us on arrival and gave us all the important information. Because we arrived early and left late; Alfredo let us use a cupboard facility to store luggage which worked well and was very much appreciated. Alfredo was very helpful and messaged us throughout our stay to check all ok and answer any questions. The room (Studio No 4) was spacious and well equipped. The bathroom too was a good size. The accommodation had ample electrical sockets, mirrors and hooks for towels. There are fantastic views from the roof terrace.

The furniture and bathroom were a little dated, but that didn’t detract from the comfort or cleanliness of the suite.

The bed was possibly the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in! The suite (no. 5) itself was large and bright with a view of the harbour. We didn’t use any cooking facilities (too many great restaurants close by) but everything was provided had we wanted to. The location was perfect for exploring Valetta, with the bus station close by, with a great network for travelling further afield being both regular and inexpensive. Our host, Alfredo, was warm and welcoming, constantly checking in to make sure everything was ok. He provided us with a comprehensive list of restaurants and local attractions, answering a couple of questions we had promptly. Nothing was too much trouble.

There is construction going on across the road, but it is in the daytime and it didn’t bother us. It was interesting to watch a bit from the terrace.

Extremely clean (and my wife has high standards), Alfredo was very responsive and informative, and he organized a couple of drivers for us. He cMe over to meet us and he was very friendly and so helpful. The rooftop terrace was outstanding, it is so beautiful up there! The bed was comfortable and nights were very quiet. The location cannot be beat, close to everything.

Alfredo was very kind and helpful through out the trips and accommodated our requests as much as possible. Rooms were practical and clean with a kitchenette. The rooftop views were very beautiful some of the best in Valletta and overlooked the Fort St Angelo.

Mattress was very hard. But otherwise the bedding was comfortable.

Great location. Pretty room, authentic, great little Maltese style covered balcony, lift, very quiet at night. Woke up every morning to birds singing outside. Kitchenette was exactly what i needed, down to the plug in mosquito deterrent! Alfredo is an exceptional property manager, he sorted any small issues I had straight away, always available.

The hosts were extremely kind and the communication/check in process was fabulous. Underneath the suites is a bagel shop which is divine! The rooftop balcony had a lovely view, but due to timing we did not enjoy it as much as we would have liked. Bed and pillows were comfortable! A/C was easy to use.
