The bathroom and bed are quite old. I think the bathroom should be renovated.

The sea view room with balcony was very nice. The room overall is clean and good. The bathroom is a bit old-fashioned. The breakfast is very nice. Though there is not much selection but quite tasty. I quite enjoyed my stay at Hotel San Andrea.

The shower in room 204 really needs to be fixed. The shower head was halfway down the wall and water went all over the bathroom floor.

We absolutely loved the location, the beach was right outside! The rooms were quite outdated but overall very comfortable and we had a room with a balcony which was perfect. the on-site restaurant was great with very friendly staff. We also had a checkout of 12pm.

The waiters were polite but the head waiter wasn't, he should be more gentle and if I start speaking in Maltese as I am from Malta which is our language he should have said it in a gentle way to speak jn English not in a bad tone like ordering me to speak in English.

The area is beautiful Very clean. The receptionists were very polite and gentle.

Ideally, rooms should have small fridges, Stepping into a bath to have a shower can be dangerous, difficult to access powerpoints in bedroom, insufficient amenities eg Milk, tea & coffee, toilet paper. Milk capsules should be larger & need at least 4 to be replenished daily.

The room was tiny, the shower was problematic and the towels were worn out. There were heaps of smokers out on their balconies making it awful for us to use our balcony at those times.

The location was fabulous - right on the water front.

- If you do not stick your room card in, when you are in the room, the power outlets won't work - I noticed it too late and my phone was dead the next morning. - Xlendi (the town itself) is quite secluded - if you rent a car, it is not a problem, but with bus, you need to switch 2 buses to come there. The beach is amazing and you can hike there, but if you are looking for museums/architecture, it is not your town.

- The Hotel is on the shore, and some rooms have a bay view. - It has its own restaurant - they were really kind and made me supper almost at the closing hours and let me take my food to my room. I really appreciated that. - The breakfast you can eat on the shore - beautiful.

There is very little to complain about! Perhaps once could complain that the hotel lift is on the small size..

The breakfast was very generous and the environment was exceptionally pleasant! The hotel is situates next to a free public car parking area and that makes the hotel all the more reachable. A very nice place indeed!

Some things look a bit dated. One of the towels was stained, and the toilet flush was slow. Hotel has great potential but needs some tlc.

What i didnt like is that we went out and they didnt cleaned the room. Then as we went in they came and we were tired so we just exchanged the towels. The tv can be bigger than what there is.

The bed and blanket should be changed slowly

The location of the hotel is extraordinary, right next to the sea. Aleksandra at the reception is super friendly and warm. We were satisfied with the room, there is a terrace on the roof with a wonderful view of the bay. Breakfast is ok, it could be more varied. With an easy walk you can go to the wonderful sunset on top of the hill.

We stayed mid-week out of season and the bar across the road played loud music, I couldn't sleep, but didn't affect my husband who snored through it all. (so it depends what type of sleeper you are). Or book a back room maybe but you'll miss the view. I did call reception after 11pm and the volume decreased very quickly so for that I am truly appreciative. As with the whole area of Malta and Gozo lots of lots of construction going on everywhere so you'd be hard pressed avoiding it.

The making of this hotel was the restaurant. It was truly one of the best breakfasts we had in Malta & Gozo, in fact it was the best. The quality and the choice was excellent. We also had dinner in the restaurant, my husband had rabbit. (not for me) and I had a magnificent salad. Prices were reasonable and the location was delightful over the water. It was nice to enjoy breakfast overlooking the bay. We would definitely stay again, older property and tired (so am I) needs a touch up here and there (so do I :)) but you cannot top the location and across the road, scuba and snorkelling available.

I booked a room with a double bed but it turned out to be two single mattresses in a double bed frame.

Very central and we have a relly nice view of the valley from our room. Breakfast was delicious and staff were very friendly.

There is a bar next to the Hotel...the people who are usually there make a lot of noise.

Very good breakfast. We got 2 bottles of mineral water for free, tea and coffee also provided for free. Good location and nice staff. Free parking area close by. Room temperature was very good.

Didn’t get either of my request ( high floor & 2 adjacent rooms) despite me asking again when we got there, we were on 1st floor so noise from the road is not conducive to a relaxing read on the balcony.
