We liked everything here. The flat is very nice, in a good location for us. The owners are great, they told us about everything, what to visit, the stores around us, the buses, everything that you might think you need for a perfect vacation. We had an awesome vacation here and we recommend it.

Nothing, all great.

Great location in three cities - easy to get over to Valletta (by boat, Uber or bus). Much more pleasant than staying in Valletta as it’s more residential but with some still great scenery and restaurants etc, so all the pros but quieter as so many tourists stay in Valletta itself. Clean and practicable apartment - just what you need for a short stay or city break. Ira and Clint (the hosts) were brilliant, collected me from the airport for a 15 euro fee and gave me a tour of the apartment and introduction to the local area. Really worth it given a taxi would probably cost about 10-15 euro anyway. Thank you both for a great stay!

Good location for exploring Malta. Modern (renovated) apartment in old traditional building, very well equipped, clean and spacious. Host Ira was very kind, willing to help and explain any questions you may have. Bus #1 start station 1min from the property, 10-15min foot distance to ferry station in Birgu port marina goes every half-an-hour to Valeta city.

It was not disclosed that you have to pay for aircondition. The price was about 1 euro per 2 hours. It’s not convinient for bed time. Aircondition will stop in the midle of the night and during summer months it will get really warm. This could affect your sleep if you’re not used to it.

It was all good

Location is fantastic, everything you need is there. Love the roof Terrace, the bed is super comfortable. Wi-Fi was great- stable and fast enough to make VoIP calls and work when I need it to. The hosts are wonderful. Provided lots of great information on checking in, went above and beyond when my flight came in late and then when I was checking out and left something in the room I needed to go back for. Very convenient to get the ferry or the bus from this apartment. Makes it easy to explore Malta from here

Be prepared to pay an additional cleaning fee that is not stated on Booking.com. It would not be suitable for people with poor mobility as steps everywhere at the apartment and location.

The location was perfect for exploring the area and easy access to all parts of Malta. The apartments had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (but as mentioned in previous reviews, sun loungers for the roof would be a bonus).

Perfect location to discover the Three cities and Valetta, but also allows to have a taste of the "Maltese life" (unlike the old Valetta with lot of hotels which is more of a place for tourism only). Calm place, easy to park in the surrounding streets, everything you need can be found around easily, and very close to the ferry for Valetta (departures every 30 minutes). Possible to go swimming around, and I really appreciated the dinners on the Senglea port nearby: lot of choice of food (Mediterranean, Asian, fast-food...) with the Valetta + Senglea + Birgu view. Also, the apartment was very clean, and the hosts eager to help and to give tips for a perfect stay. I would just note that the apartment being in a traditional building, stairs are kind of steep as you can see on the pictures - maybe not the best choice if you have mobility issues. Wi-Fi was working well and fast. I would recommend this apartment.

Just one small thing about the shower, the water pressure is a little bit small.

As we are coffee lovers adding a simple coffee maker (like a petcolator) to enabke preparing espresso would be great, as well as adding 2 mugs.

Quite and peaceful place with local "flavour". Close to public transport (bus, ferry). Both small shops and restaurants nearby. Everyting needed to have a good start after arrival supplied (water, tea, coffee...etc.) On the top: the owner gave us some good advices and took special care of us (just by herself) which we appreciate very much :-)

Leaving it.

What a wonderful few days we had. we actually booked the three nights while in Birgu on Booking.com and within twenty minutes our host picked us up (in a torrential but short lived rain storm) and we were checked in. Everything we needed was on hand and we couldn’t fault the location, so close to the harbour and a great sun terrace on the roof. Brilliantly priced too. Would love to return next year.

Powercuts in the district during our stay made for a couple of very uncomfortable nights with no aircon. The hosts called to apologise as this was out of their control. Each morning there was quite a bit of noise from dogs in the neighbouring property.
