We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe previous reviews about Blubay Apartments, Fleet Street we read prior to our holiday did not reflect our stay. The apartments are in an older building and the acoustic soundproofing is not the best but ear plugs sorted this. The property is in a great location close to all the amenities and bus stops. The studio was more than adequate. Great roof terrace with plunge pool. Clean. Helpful & friendly staff. If fact we have already booked to return in September.

United KingdomInitial check in was abysmal. Receptionist at BluBay Apartments initially said there was no reservation in my name then said there was but we were at the wrong place. I tried to show him the numerous emails I had had with them about my booking which also confirmed where I was to check in but he was adamant we had to go to Bayview Hotel. We went there and we're told we were in the wrong place. When I explained that the first guy had sent us there they said they would sort it out and allocated us a 7th floor apartment which was unsuitable due to my mobility problems (not safe in an emergency as I would not be able to evacuate via the stairs) They eventually found us a 2nd floor apartment which was poorly equipped - (not sure if this was because they weren't expecting it to be used that day) The toaster and the iron both had European plugs (sockets are 3pin British style) so we had to ask for an adaptor, several of the pillows leaked stuffing and the sheets were too small for the beds (3ft beds but sheets for 2'6 single beds) Additionally there were only 5 glasses (1 pint, 1 large wine glass, 2 small wine glasses and a small tumbler) There was no information of any kind as to how to use the appliances, no fire or emergency information etc. The staff on the front desk at the Bayview were helpful but definitely not forthcoming with information (when checking out we were told we could leave our luggage "in the luggage room" with a vague wave to the left however when we found it we had to go back to reception to ask them to open a locker for us. They were obviously aware that the only way they could be opened was by a staff member with a key so why did they not accompany us in the first place?
Fantastic location, apartment was roomy and pleasant. Most staff were helpful but some were downright rude

The room was smaller but it has everything needed. Also location is quite good and not far from the main promenade. Very good connections to all the main attractions and plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.

United KingdomThe walls are paper paper thin so it's difficult to get any sleep with the surroundings, I stayed in central amsterdam a few days earlier and managed to sleep well in a cheap hotel but this place is a nightmare if you have noisy neighbours. Completely not the staffs fault and as the price was so good it's hard to complain but I definitely wouldn't stay here if you have young children and don't want to end up having an awkward birds and the bees chat with them haha. Definitely worth paying a little bit extra to stay somewhere where you can get at least a little bit of decent sleep

United KingdomThe kitchen facilities are quite lacking & basic. I booked an apartment so I could cook my meals but there is no chopping knife (just eating knives & a bread knife) & there were two huge pans which could not be used at the same time as they didn't fit on the hob together, so you could only cook one thing at a time. On a positive note, I did have a microwave which I wasn't expecting & was grateful for. There is no washing up liquid to clean the dishes after cooking or cloth to dry them with & as I was only staying for 2 nights it wasn't something I wanted to buy.
I had a short but pleasant stay. The room was very clean & well presented. The air con system allowed me to have it as warm or as cool as I wanted. As a solo traveller the room was big enough for me but wasn't huge, probably 'cosy' for a couple. The bed was comfy enough. The towels were lovely. There was a balcony so it was possible to sit outside but there was no view, just looking straight at other buildings. The reception is available 24 hours & all the staff, from the reception team to housekeeping were very helpful & welcoming. The apartments were well located, less than 5 minutes walk from the main street/promenade where you can find lots of restaurants, shops & access to the ferries.

Czech RepublicWhen we arrived, the kitchen utensils weren’t clean properly and also there was nothing to wash it with, we had to buy a sponge and use a soap. The balcony was facing other room’s balcony and when we wanted to open it to get a fresh air, others could see into our room.

When I was about to give up searching I saw a small door with the name of the place on it! Small room, not particularly clean, uncomfortable bed, no showerhead in the bathroom, broken toilet flush, water was hardly coming out of the tap.

Italythe cleanliness was very poor as soon as we entered we found the kitchen as dirty as knives and forks with food on them and the fridge full of stuff. furthermore in the bathroom there was no welcome sign with soap or anything we had to go and ask the cleaning lady who was walking around and at the reception we had to wait 20 minutes because our reservation was not found, which included me being told that the reservation was not a real one and I had to show every email I received
