It was a long walk from the reception at the ST Hotel to the actual building where the apartment was, at least some 6 blocks. Also, we rented a car and finding a place to park at night became a nightmare, but this seems to be the case everywhere in this area.

Comfortable place, very clean, with a nice terrace. The location was also good, just a few blocks away from the avenue with all the restaurants, pubs and pier to take the boat to Valletta.

the key cards we got from reception did not work from the first try. it was like 7 minute walk away and we needed to come back to the reception with all the luggage to fix them

It wasn't in the main building, the reception was distant from apartment. We had clogged shower, the water in the sink was dripping. The utensils were dirty, when we asked for dish soap and sponge, we didn't get it, after they said they will try, if not they will send someone to clean the dishes - noone came, we had to buy it by ourselves. The trash wasn't emptied for 2 days, and we had to ask them to take it, other way noone would come.

The main hotel is not pet friendly unfortunately, so they could place you in an apartment block a few streets back. However for the price it was all fine and as could be expected I guess. Tip: Try to get a room with a sea view, the extra charge will be worth it:)

climate for building is very very loud and it runs whole night and day. I couldnt sleep for 2 night's because of noise. Less of dishes.

The booking system needs upgrading. I booked on line and provide all my detail - name. address, cell number, e-mail, passport number etc. When I get to reception, they have my booking on the system, but presented me with a blank document to complete providing the same details already provide. They document provide should be pre-populated only for me to confirm & sign.

3 days out of 7 I saw power cuts with a duration of 10 minutes, 3 hours and 4 hours. 3-4 days without wifi with a duration of 4 hours, 3 hours and 3 hours. The beds were not comfy. Don't trust the looks of your room that you get from the website.

Location is the biggest plus point. Staffs were nice. Renovated rooms looked better than other reviews.

Noises are transported very well through the corridors and rooms as there are no acoustic panels or similar sound deafening objects installed.

It was very central and had quite comfy mattresses. The harbour can be seen as soon as leaving the hotel and restaurants in walking distance are available in abundance.

We asked for no cleaning, but they kept coming every day. We asked to repair the balcony door, it took 2-3 days until they came. We asked for blankets as it was cold, they promised to bring one but they didnt, we had to go and ask again.

During our stay, we put the ‘make our room’ notice on the door. However, It stayed there for 3 whole days. No one came to make our room. We had to go find the staff ourselves to change our towels (and toilet paper) and our room was left unclean.

We loved that it was a pet friendly hotel and we could take our dog with us.

I don’t recommend the studio on the first floor. The common door to access the rooms make a loudly and horrible noise, the room has no view and it’s quite dark. Ask for the room on the 8th floor and the experience it will be a lot better.

Fresh linen every day. Facilities were very clean and comfortable. Well located to all amenities. Gzira is a great place to stay. Buses and Bolt services are a great addition to a holiday in Malta.

Who likes to pay for a balcony and not have one? This is a combination of faults between Booking.com and the hotel, providing wrong information to users. The receptionist was even more irritating than founding out the room had no balcony with her no sense excuses. Had 100 choices for a room in Malta with a balcony for the time I booked. So, I am quite disappointed since it's not the first time I come across substantial wrong information.

I know the place; I've been there before and will use it again because it's near to the places I have to go when I am there. The place was clean. Living Room was spacious. Not so spacious the bathroom and you could hardly open the wardrope.
