The lack of TV channels although if you have a subscription service you can use that. An HDMI cable would be handy to connect your laptop.

Emilija, our host, is a gem!!! Before we left home she was prompt and very helpful in responding to all our emails. She gave us lots of useful information on everything from eateries, supermarkets and transport to touristy things. We made the mistake of not taking her offer to arrange a taxi from the airport; instead we took a taxi from the rank. It dropped us nowhere near the apartment so we dragged our heavy luggage around cobble-stoned Republic Street most of which is pedestrianised and crowded with spatially unaware tourists (a bit like ourselves) looking unsuccessfully for the apartment. Eventually we called her and she rescued us by meeting us and dragging one of the suitcases about one kilometer to the apartment on a hot, humid day. That's going well and truly above and beyond the line of duty. If we'd taken the taxi she arranged, the driver would have dropped us to our doorstep and it would have cost us the same as the airport taxi!! So take her advice. The apartment is refurbished and modern with induction hotplates, a microwave, an oven, small fridge and separate freezer together with a dishwasher and washing machine. The bed is very comfortable. Although there's a lift, I enjoyed the workout of the stairs. There's a small store immediately next door with a lovely, helpful lady owner and another store 20 paces away which between them have all the essentials including fruit and vegetables at very reasonable prices. There's a bewildering array of eateries within half a kilometer. We ate at the Beati Paoli which Emilija recommended for its rabbit. A good choice.

Note that this property is split between two apartments. The first apartment is on the 4th floor, which can be reached by an elevator. The second apartment is on the 5th floor which you must take one flight of stairs to reach. This was not an issue for us, but may be a problem for others. Shower on the 5th floor is right next to the bed which isn't necessarily bad, but certainly a different experiene for us!

We loved our stay at this home in Valletta. The apartment is very convenient to everything, only a few minutes from one of the main squares, excellent restaurants and bars, and tons of shopping. The property is split across two floors (we booked as a group of 4) with the main living room, kitchen, two bathrooms and bedroom on the 4th floor. The other bedroom and bathroom were on the 5th floor. The upper bedroom also has access to the outdoor terrace with amazing views of Valletta, the surrounding cityscape and the Mediterranean Sea. The terrace is spacious so our group was able to really spread out and enjoy. There is also a balcony in the main apartment on the 4th floor. The home is about 25 minutes from the airport by car - Uber, Bolt and taxis are all very easy to use for getting around Malta. Our host also sent great recommendations for the area and was very responsive whenever we needed assistance. We took the 30 minute ride to Mdina and a 40 minute ride to the aquarium and Cafe del Mar when we left Valletta, but most of our stay was spent in town. Would highly recommend and hope to stay here again!

Located centrally in Valletta Old Town it is a perfect base. Beautiful location which felt safe and quiet but only moments away from bars and restaurants. Excellent facilities for cooking and cleaning. Note: get your taxi to the Fort Elmo end. We were dropped at city gate end by our taxi which was tricky with luggage.

We arrived late evening. The flat was freezing cold (February) and we were not familiar with the heating system. The House Manager agreed in a later talk to write a small guide how to operate the heating system. Not a good start. Better if the flat had been inspected and warmed up before our arrival.

Its a good flat, big and functional. Quiet, no noise from street. Easy to go shopping for food. A nice little walk down to the bus station, where you get good transport possibilities. Easy to contact the house manager, if you need assistance. The house manager responds quickly.

Beautiful, well-maintained, clean place with a spectacular view of the port and the city of Sliema. The 4th floor has a living room, kitchen and bedroom with a bathroom and toilet, while the 5th floor has a beautiful terrace with a view, another bedroom with a shower and a small annex. I sincerely recommend :-)

The location was great, close to alot of places to eat and the center of Valletta. The apartment was modern and clean and there are markets right next door to buy food , drinks and snacks. A comfortable space for 2 adults and two kids. The view from the top balcony is awesome. The host were very responsive to our messages and set up transportation to and from the airport for us. They also gave us the information to access the apartment before we arrived. Overall a great stay and a place I we would stay at again.

Everything was amaaazing. More than we could ever ask. The place was huge, cozy, it had everything that you could think like washing machine, dishes, coffee machine, even 2 bathrooms. The water pressure is not great at all, especially in the shower. There were not many kitchen appliances/amenities, literally 4 glasses, 4 cups etc… which just meant we had to wash the cups etc… after each use, but a new sponge would have been better. We were two couples, be aware that the second bedroom is upstairs (separate from the main living space) and there’s no kitchen appliances (a bar fridge would have been handy) etc…

In a great location, however we had to walk up a steep incline to get to the town centre, this could be challenging if you’re elderly. Having a washing machine was great & there’s a lift, which made it do much easier to take our luggage upstairs!
