How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The apartment’s prime location made exploring Valletta a breeze. We were just a short walk away from major attractions, vibrant bars, and charming cafes. The apartment was spotless. It was comfortable and air-conditioned. Our host was warm and welcoming. They provided helpful tips about the area and checked in during our stay to ensure everything was to our liking.

It was lovely at Valleta Triton Apartment! Very clean, with everything you need and a very very good location,close to bus and center. A quiet place to stay even if it is in the center. Roney was very friendly,kind and helpful to us. With all my heart I give a 10 to Valleta Triton Aparments! For sure we'll come back here again!

Nothing, it was fabulous! Only suggestion wound be to add a few hooks in the bathroom and bedrooms to hang towels on to dry.
Amazing spacious and nicely decorated apartment in the old town. Great location near the main shopping area and just across from the bus station for day trips to other areas of the island. Great storage and amenities including washing machine. Great communication from owners.

Location is the best ever location of all my bookings ever!! You will not regret it. Close to airport, to bus stop, to boat to Gozo, to supermarket, to sunset spot, city center and all attractions.

First of all, the cleanliness of the room and secondly its amenities are super full and modern. The place is well located and Rodney was a responsive and kind host. Everything is close by and walkable. We had an amazing stay at this apartment!

Rodney is a most helpfully and nice host I ever met. Apartament is strictly in city center, near parlamant and Triton Fountain and bus station. Our flight arrived early morning and it was possible to leave luggage in apartament before accomodation. Thanks! Absolutely perfect!

Some basic things like salt was missing in kitchen. Washing machine was there but not the powder, high chair was also not there.

A modern apartment within a few meters from the Parliament building. The location is perfect with all the highlights of Valletta within walking distance. Rodney stayed up till 2300hrs to meet us and give the keys. His directions to Rampila restaurant made it easy to find the apartment. We rented a car and parking in Valletta is difficult. We parked at the underground MCP Carpark which is less than a five minute walk from the apartment. A very comfortable stay at the apartment.

Beds and pillows could be more comfortable. Would be helpful to have salt and pepper and a little cooking oil.

The property was in a perfect position. So close to the busses for transport and the Main street for shopping and food. The apartment was lovely. Air conditioned, spacious and very clean. It had everything you could need! Rodney was very helpful in collecting and returning us to the airport when we needed him- thank you so much!

Nothing not to like
Location is excellent and flat has everything you need. The hosts we're exceptional and couldn't do enough to support us. We had a medical emergency while staying here and they gave us so much support. Couldn't recommend more.

There is a constant sound of AC working. But there is no way you are not using AC, cause the weather is rather hot in summer.
The apartment is on the central streets of Valetta, the Bus station and the shops are near. All rooms are conditioned, the windows of the bedrooms are facing the small yard, so there is no noice from the tourists.

Nothing, this apartment exceeded my expectations
The location and apartment was excellent. It had everything you need to self contain. Our host Rodney was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. Very close to Valletta's main street and 2 minutes walk to the buses. I would highly recommend this apartment and will stay there on my next holiday.

Double bed was very comfortable, single beds not so much. Generator outside is pretty loud at the night but we didn’t mind. Host very friendly
