We arrived at the accommodation around 11:30 PM, and an hour later we lost electricity, leaving us unable to charge our phones and, obviously, without Wi-Fi. With the power outage, an emergency light turned on inside the room, which made it difficult for us to sleep. The electricity was not restored until close to the checkout time.

The location is great, right in the heart of the city and close to all the major tourist sites. The area is vibrant, filled with bars, restaurants, and convenience stores, making any need easily accessible.

Very noisy from the traffic. Room was not cleaned properly, there was dirt under the bed and an old breadloaf on the windowsill outside.

    Very central. Free waterrefill

I suggest bringing your own sheets and bedspreads. Pillowcases and sheets were not ironed (questionable whether washed), covering without upholstery. The water in the boiler was almost cold, we did not shower. For me, both are the minimum that must be achieved to be comfortable. The common terrace is not nearly as in the pictures, there was not a single chair or table. For one night barely acceptable to me, no more than that.

Excellent location in the center for an acceptable price

The main problem was that our room wasn't like at the photos and there wasn't any light in the bathroom. The smell inside was ugly. The building inside looked like in the condition of renovation, dusty and full of rubbish in the stairs.

There was a hair dryer and a really big bed. The towels were changed every day.

If the price hadn’t have been so good for this accommodation, we would have been very disappointed with the facilities. There was noisy construction work in the building that prevented use of the common kitchen and roof terrace areas- I feel that it should have been communicated that this would be happening during our stay. There was also a terrible smell in the entrance way and hallway. Finally, the facilities in the room were very poor. The television was missing plugs so couldn’t be used and only a small single duvet was provided for a double bed, so we had to layer up in jumpers during the night due to how cold it was. There was air con but no real heat option. The bathroom facilities were also disappointing with barely any lighting (you could hardly tell the difference when the light was turned on) and the shower water came out of the shower head from the side as it was broken, meaning you couldn’t attach it to the hook to use the shower and just had to hold it in your hands to ensure it didn’t splash out above the curtain. We also noticed that a puddle of water would leak out of the bathroom area into the bedroom after each shower. An additional note, we found the room very noisy as there is no double glazing so being in the busy centre, noises from cars and bars etc kept waking us up, but it may be the case for all accommodation as I imagine the traditional windows and features etc. have to be kept intact.

This accommodation is located in a great spot right in Valletta centre, very handy for restaurants, shops and the local ferries. The price was good for such an excellent location and the daily turn down service and fresh towels was a nice touch. They also have a water fountain with delicious fresh water.

It’s full of mosquitoes ( I was there in December !) , so it would be nice if the plug in mosquitoes repellent were provided. The apartment I stayed in was not the one on the photos. This one was not nearly as nice. The communal kitchen was out of order which is a shame as it would be nice to have access to at least some cups and plates.

The location is very good, closed to the main streets but still local. The communication with the apartment staff was also very good and clear check in instructions. It was relatively clean and a bed was confortable.

The facility is remotely managed - what a nightmare if Booking.com sends the pass codeS (yes, three of them) to your non-preferred, online default email address. There is no one inside to help even if they heard frantic knocking. And which door to knock on - there are 3 signs on the No. 4 door, none of which is remotey related to a hotel. And no one I spoke to in the streets surrounding has ever heard of Kampnar City Living.

Location was great - very close to City Gate and tucked away in a side street. The photo advertising the hotel in Booking.com could not have been more misleading, showing as it does a valcony overlooking the harbour. Actually, the hotel is ain a narrow state, squeezed in between medieval terraces with no view at all. The room was spacious, clean and oh so cool - the AC was on (I normally eschew AC because of global heating but positively welcomed it after my lengthy and humid search for digs). The room also had a fan, TV and tea/coffee provision.

The apartment wasn't very clean, there was a big leakage under the bathroom sink which would cause a flood every time the water was running, the shower pressure is almost non-existing. The communal kitchen was very dirty and there was scaffolding holding the roof beams which doesn't seem very secure.

The location of the apartment is exquisite, very central and in close proximity to restaurants, bars, shops and the main streets. The self check-in instructions were very clear and easy to follow, no problems here. The apartment terrace is cosy.

Had a mix of UK and EU plugs, wish I'd known about the EU plugs as I would have brought an adaptor. Room was a bit dusty in places and the TV had terrible reception. Umbrella on rooftop terrace was broken so couldn't really utilise the roof during mid afternoon.

The location was excellent, the room was adequate - all we needed, the bed was great. Room was generally clean, no disturbance, water fountain downstairs so could stay hydrated without worry. Good value for money.

It's the second time I stay there and this time wasn't as good as the first one. The daily housekeeping meant only changing the bins, nothing else. There were no free toiletries. I asked for them but they were not delivered. The bed isn't very comfy, two single mattresses together, so there was always a gap in the middle. You couldn't open the windows to the balcony, so couldn't really enjoy that part. There was a lot of noise from the cars on the street so make sure you bring your earplugs. The bathroom was a small cubicle inside the room, and the shower didn't have a shower head holder.. I couldn't watch any TV as it had an European plug and the wall plug next to it had a British fit, kind of useless in this case. I'm a bit disappointed as last year it was a lot better.

The location is perfect, right in the centre of Valletta. You can leave your luggage there for the day when checking out. Pillows were super comfy

We didn’t mind that much, but it is noisy, both from the street and also inside the stay, you can hear everything. The kitchen is awful, dont’t prepare to use it, no coffee available

Very good location, comfortable beds, with a lot of pillows, good air conditioning, there were 2 european sockets, which was good

I am disappointed with the apartment. the apartment was given to us as if it had a balcony, but it is a loggia that is divided in half. where you can't get out, and the door can't be closed. the bathroom is very small and built into the room, there are accordion doors on the bathroom door that serve as a curtain, it is very uncomfortable to use the toilet while someone is in the room.

    Location is fantastic

The room was not cleaned properly, the floor was dusty and my feet became dirty from walking in the room. The toilet was also not properly prepared. One of the TV remotes was missing, the host said that somebody will bring us a replacement but that never happened.

The location is really good and the room itself is spacious. There was an air conditioning available which is really important considering the high temperatures in July. I loved the big, red and ancient windows, they contributed to the Malta experience.

The facilites were adequate but basic. You do need to get your baggage up the steep flights of stairs so important to be aware of this, which I was, but I was glad I only had to go up one flight, rather than 2. The kitchen was rather drab and I would not feel inclined to make use of it.

I enjoyed staying at this property as it was in a great location and was quite quaint, as it is in one of the original old buildings in Valletta. It was great to be able to experience this. The self check-in was easy and the instructions were clear. The roof terrace was quite pleasant.
