The container hub is not so far, and the sounds and view are worse than could be, but for a short stay is ok.

Very friendly staff are in the hotel, like in a family hotel. The cleaning is done each day with the towel change. The bus stop is just next to the hotel. Enough good breakfast is available.

Didn't like the hard beds with the plastic mattress protectors, that made a noise everytime you moved

Honestly, the only complaint we had was the TV and the remote. We could only find two channels on an evening to watch - Eurosports and Comedy Central. So I had to endure a week of snooker on an evening before I could watch Rick and Morty and Frasier 🤣 also, the remote rarely worked even when we changed the batteries ourselves.

There was a nice comfortable bed, a gorgeous view, and a good-sized balcony. The bathroom was simple but clean and well stocked. The staff were polite and friendly, especially the domestic staff. This is a simple hotel, no gym, and no swimming pool, etc, but for someone who just wants to relax and enjoy the beach, which is directly next to it, it's perfect. The sea is gorgeous! Yes, there is a view of the shipping port right next to the hotel, but it's not an ugly port and it's not an eye-sore. It's an essential part of Malta and shouldn't be overlooked. At nighttime, it looks awesome. There are several restaurants close by; Illusions is great, and the staff are super friendly. Their omelette is incredible. Coffee Circus China is also close by, and the coffee and hot chocolate are delicious. It's a very quirky cafe and the staff are friendly. I wouldn't go to Pretty Bay if you want a bustling town with tons to do, but if you want to relax and re-charge, definitely visit!

Nothing to rave about, but nothing to complain about either.

I find it amazing that there are reviews which complain about the proximity of the port. We really enjoyed being able to watch the container ships coming in and out and watching them being loaded and unloaded. If this would bother you then don't stay here. We also enjoyed meeting some of the Filipino crew while they were enjoying a couple of hours shore leave. If you look the other way then the view of the beach is great. Beachfront location, loads of bars and restaurants around. The hotel and the room and the breakfast buffet were nothing special but all were acceptable and more than adequate for a few nights stay.

The key card was not working properly we had to change it a couple of times.

Nice view from the balcony. Comfortable and stylish rooms. It had a mini fridge (but not filled with stacks or drinks), a cattle to use which was a convenient way to make teas.

The lack of a table on the balcony. There were only chairs, unlike in the photos, and it wasn't helpful if you preferred to have your coffee on the balcony as I do. The mattress is rather uncomfortable (old model with springs which you do feel as you sleep) Hard pillow that gives you neck pain. It's a bit noisy if you keep the balcony door open due to the nearby harbour. (I guess it depends on one's nervous system sensitivity)

Great location, right on the beach and 1 minute walk from the main bus station. Lovely staff, friendly, polite, and ready to help. Spacious room and bathroom. Large balcony with incredible sea view. Everything was clean and in good order. Lots of mirrors, which I found helpful.

The price was great for the location. The room was clean, with a balcony overlooking the beach, breakfast was also good. Value for money is the best way to describe this hotel.

Mattress and pillows were not very comfortable. TV remote handset was disgustingly filthy, never cleaned. We cleaned it with anti-bac cloths before we could use it! Suggest hotel clean regularly and place in plastic sleeve after each clean, like other hotels do as common practice.

Close location to Valletta, reasonable cost but still a little high for time of year. Good Aircon & nice views from balcony.

To one side of the hotel is a small beach but to the other side is a huge shipping container port which looks like you are vacationing in an industrial zone, that was very disappointing, made us skip the beach, which is a shame because the hotel room was lovely with a huge balcony. The lobby looked dated I’d suggest redecorating. But we were just there on a quick flight stopover so it served our needs to be close to the airport but I wouldn’t spend my vacation in this location.

The balcony of my room was very small and the floor and shower cabin were dirty. The breakfast buffet was really limited and the same each morning.

There is a beach right beside the hotel but, although there were a number of people swimming, we did not see how the water quality could fail to be downgraded by having a major harbour next door. The in-house breakfast was very limited in scope but there is a nearby alternative.

This hotel is relatively close to the airport in a not very touristy area with regular buses to Valetta. The rooms have large balconies directly overlooking Pretty Bay (but also the island's container terminal). The restaurant on the ground floor offered excellent food and the management was very flexible in postponing the closure of the kitchen when we returned very late and exhausted from a tour, much appreciated! The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
