We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SerbiaThe hotel concept is nice, but the hotel needs renovation. There is only one big shower towel, no face towel per person. Our room was beside road, it was noisy. The exhaust from the kitchen of the restaurant below us was right next to our room door, and it smelled horrible. Buffet breakfast was ok, continental, and buffet dinner was more oriental cuisine.

United KingdomI was on full board but only a very limited number of items on the menu were inclusive in my booking. I had bottled water provided at dinner which the head waiter 'insisted' were included in my booking. They were not, and I had to pay 200 rupees (£4 approximately) per bottle at the end of my stay. Bit much when I only wanted a glass of water.

NetherlandsWe were there on our honeymoon, they put us on the same floor of 25 young kids aged around 9-10 and invisible group manager. Every evening and morning the saga of who rings the door bell and run in the corridor lasted for hours without intervention of neither the group leaders or the hotel staff. The buffet breakfast was savaged by the same group leaving nothing to the guests besides the fruits maybe if they decently thought of closing the cover and not let these be a feast for flies. What a bad experience, even for that price

MauritiusThe rooms were not cleaned properly. I had to change the room where they asked for extra money when it was not my fault. The bed was not comfortable, had to sleep on a very small mattress. I bought rum from Mauritius for my family which was also lost from my room. Receptionist was informed of same. To be honest i would not recommend people to go there.

South AfricaStaff really need serious training. Not friendly at all. Breakfast extremely disappointing. For what I paid, I expect much better variety. Again staff unfriendly. Rooms standard and very old fashioned. Needs serious upgrade for what you pay. I completely overpaid for this accommodation.
Location is good. And I give a 10/10 because the booking.com system is unfair to properties.

GuernseyThe hotel could have designated parking spaces for hotel guest as it was always a struggle to find parking at the back. Also, additional sun beds would be good to have in the beach.
We liked the breakfast but if possible a little more variety. We liked the variety available for dinner and it was good to have it. The location was very good as well as it is near the grocery store and near the restaurants around. The cleanliness of the pool and gym facility was greatly appreciated, they were well kept and maintained.
