Our stay in Ahavah was perfect. The guesthouse was simply extraordinary. - Spotlessly clean room - Super soft and comfortable duvet - Hairdryer, washing machine, detergent and cooking amenities provided - Fresh baked bread served every morning -Hot and strong water pressure shower. -Frindly and helpful host provided information of nearby restaurant and tour attractions

Absolutely everything. If I could, I would give more than 10. Amazing people with warm hearts, beautiful authentic place, fully equipped, stylish, and comfortable designs. Varsha and Ashley are the most caring hosts you have ever met. They look after you all the time, making sure you have everything you need. Fresh buns every morning cleaning available every day if you want, additional services also available. We had a massage given by the professional in our apartment. This was by far the best place I stayed in on my holidays, and I would recommend it to everyone going to Mauritius.

We loved everything about this place

Ashley the owner is a gem He goes out of his way to look after us. Making sure we are comfortable and his mother broughs us fresh baked bread every moring and one morning also fresh fruits, butter, cheese and jam. He drove us around trou d'eau douce to show us everything. He organised a boat trip for us. The best experience ever. Thank you Ashley for making our stay wonderful.

There was an only problem that the power went off during the night so the emergency light went on. So there was a bright light. Also in the morning we had no electricity. But I believe it was a one time thing.

The hosts was very friendly and helpful. They send us the specifications about the accommodations and they were very helpful when we wanted some advices. We also had a fresh bread every morning. The place was very clean and quiet, it looks better than the pictures. We spend every night at the balcony just chilling. Also we got a many tips for restaurants near by. Very nice service. The hosts are really trying to have happy visitors.

Everything was great, excellent, amazing. AHAVAH team - Ashley, his wife Varsha and Family are so lovely and friendly people. We want to thank them for such beautifull time we spent there. Ashley gave us so many recommandation on restaurants, trips, shopping etc. We had really very nice week there.

The parking garage was too tight as it had to fit in 3 vehicles but Ashley’s lovely mother was always there to help me with the gate and direct me with parking.

I loved everything about the property, the room was super clean (it smelt so fresh), the breakfast was delicious and the hosts Ashley, Varsha and the mother were hospitable. Keep it up with the warm welcome to your guests.

In general, the many stray dogs at Trou d‘ Eau Douce around the streets are a problem and caused us to use our car for even very short trips.

Ashley alongside with his family was extremely friendly and forthcoming from the get-go and provided us with recommendations about what to do in the area before we even arrived. He arranged us a breakfast for little money and offered support even after we departed. Absolute recommendation to stay at this lovely place!

Just being a little bit peaky, the curtains are not enough and 5.30am you could get awake. But this is a little issue, the stay was fabolous.

The host, Ashley, and his family were just amazing. Everything is new and renovated and they gave us some bread and fruit every morning.

Fantastic visit at a hidden gem on the East Coast. Ashley and his family treated us like royalty. This amazingly spacious apartment had a King Size comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen with brand new appliances, aircon, wifi and even a brand new washing machine...what more can you ask for. Hosts provided us with 2 authentic Mauritian cuisine meals and arranged a catamaran trip for us at a very good rate. We really enjoyed the stay!

The neighbourhood is a bit neglected with many stray dogs around: harmless but always barking towards pedestrians!

The atmosphere of a family house is incredible! We enjoyed the stay also thanks to all the attentions of the hosts! The apartment is very nice, well equipped and comfortable, very large room and bathroom. Pleasant terrace for breakfasts!

Leaving after 5 weeks

We stayed in apartment nr 4, which is spacious and provides you with any comfort you may wish for. A combi microwave oven, big fridge/freezer, washing machine, Air conditioning, kettle, etc, etc. Whatever you ask for, was provided by owner Ashley and his parents. They do everything to make you happy and comfortable! The apartments are all different so choose the one that meets your own requirements. We've have gained a new "family" in Mauritius and will definitely come back. Highly recommended!!!

Walking in the neighbourhood in the evening can be a bit creepy but people and stray dogs are nice :)

Ashley was very kind and helpful despite his busy schedule. The place has all what you need with new appliances (big fridge, stove, washing machine and microwave) . Breakfast for 300 rupees was more than sufficient! That place is suitable for a solo traveller or a couple.

Ashley and his family were wonderful. Very welcoming, helpful and caring. They gave me juice and fruits on afternoons and Ashley personally arranged for a trip to l'île aux cerfs at a discounted price. The apartment was spacious with semi private balcony, very cosy and comfy, I had a great stay there and will definitely come again if the chance arises. Thanks again for the stay!
