The hosts and the atmosphere is very kind and you feel most welcome! We never had such a kind and personalized check In The Appartement has everything you need as well as very nice balkony. We felt very local and very comfortable there. Next time we will stay for longer period!

My stay at Auberge Miko was amazing. They helped me to organize pick up and drop of from airport. They were waiting for me when I arrived to the accommodation to give me the keys and showed me my room. They know a lot about the area, so they were able to give you tips about different excursions you can do, or directions in Grand Baie. The room was big and the bed very comfortable. It was very clean and the shower had hot water. The room had a little kitchen with all the things you need. It was great to meet Lena, Vivek and Chili.

The accommodation is ideally located close to the beach restaurants and bars..The apartment was comfortable and spacious with balcony and all amenities provided . Nice continental breakfast provided on request . The owners Vivek and Lena gave us a very warm and friendly welcome . Through out our stay ,they were extremely helpful providing information and local knowledge , thanks to Vivek and Lena ,we had two excellent excursions . They make you so welcome that you feel like you are staying with old friends . we would highly recommend Auberge Miko .

The place is lovely, located in the center of Gran Baie, within walking distance from all the bars, restaurants, supermarket and the beach. The owners are amazing, super kind and friendly. They offer a lot of tips on what to do in the area and how to get there.We had some nice chats with them. They also have the cutest dog. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. They arranged a scooter rental for us. We loved our stay there and would love to go back there

I didn't like the fact that I had to come back so soon! But whatever others may find, all you have to do is find Lena or Vivek and they will do their very best to help you.

Lena and Vivek were the ideal hosts. Nothing was ever too much for them, as they are sharing a part of their lives with their guests as they live on the ground floor. I felt immediately at home and at ease. Even when I fell ill, I felt reassured they would be there for me, and they were. I spent 3 weeks in great company and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Mauritius. The property is ideally located within a short walk to the beach, the supermarket and to get the bus or taxi. This was my home from home, where I could have a nice conversation to get advice about the area, or what to do on my holiday. I am looking forward to coming back very soon. Thank you, kiitos and tack så mycket Lena, Vivek and Chili the dachshund for a memorable stay!

Location is great, great value for money, we only stayed one night as we rented a villa in the south but fancied a night out in grand baie , Lena and Vivek are lovely people, super friendly and welcoming . Would highly recommend 👍🏼

I'd recommend to anyone visiting Mauritius to stay at Auberge Miko, the location is great having a big supermarket so close to you, nice and quiet area to relax and work if you need to. Both Lena and Vivek are very welcoming when you arrive and very helpful for any information you need whilst travelling through Mauritius. Rooms are extremely spacious and very clean with housekeeping every day. Only 10 minutes away from Grand Baie beach and nice restaurants close by.

Floor in the room was dirty. Not mopped. Can t walk bare feet. And all stairs too. Maybe it is Mauritius style I don’t know but should be clean in my humble opinion. Shower was so so.

Both Lena & Vivek were very hospitable from the first day and made me feel very welcome. the location was perfect (5 mins walk to the beech, 10 mins to the supermarket) and ofc course their beautiful dachshund Chili stole the show for me! couldn’t recommend staying here any more!

Wonderful place to stay. I don’t normally stay in hostels but this was perfect – the beds are comfortable, and the rooms are quiet despite the fact that if you want to, you can spend time outside with other travelers and the staff – who, by the way, were exceptional. Lena and Vivek really went out of her way to make sure everyone got what they needed, whether it was directions, recommendations, or help with their transportation. I had a great time there.
